Hi Aaron, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
The Oxford Dictionary has two definitions defining resilience, The capacity to WITHSTAND or to recover quickly from difficulties; TOUGHNESS. Secondly, the ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity. I got my resilience from WITHSTANDING the TOUGHNESS of self-made mistakes, poor decision-making, and a lack of critical thinking and problem-solving.

I don’t say this to put myself down in any way or form, it’s what I know about myself and sheds light on the importance of healthy mental health practices.

I say this is where I get my resilience from because I grew up not having a true guiding light and mental health foundation from my teenage parents. My foundation of resilience is based on trial and tribulations from society’s built-in social systems for resilience.

My small emotional support system is the elasticity of my resilience from my friends Katherine Bynum, Claudia Ventura, Tony Sherrill, and Lysandra Glover are like the substance needed to spring me back into shape when I fall into one of the dark places in the above-mentioned. Thank you, guys.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
AUTHENTIC Resilience, resourcefulness, and kindness I think were the three qualities, of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey. I believe these qualities can reach an enormous audience for any business or brand. The advice I have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how you can best develop or improve on these is to get a mentor in the field you are in that you look up to and trust would spend the time with you and develop you to your full potential self. once you do this your audience will feel the confidence, security, and comfort of your brand through you.
