Meet Aaron Norris

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Aaron Norris. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Aaron below.

Aaron, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I found my purpose, a while ago without really realizing it at the time. Coming up I’ve ways played around with cameras and editing short videos on the computer! at the time i also had learned how to cut my own hair, to help my parents out. Fast forwading to college, I’ve always cut my teammates and fellow students in the dorms, it was something i did that brought different guys and teams together outside of practice, games, and parties!
after graduating from UMO with a graphics design degree and minor in marketing i didn’t actually realize that i was going to school to learn skills that would help me develope my career path!
Two years later i enrolled in wake tech barber school after making a vital decision at some point, that i didn’t enjoy the 9-5 job life and that barbering was somthing that i had always enjoyed stuck with. and never mind doing! and it was then i had found my purpose in being a entrepreneur and marking myself as a barber!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a International barber/ Influencer based out of raleigh nc. I cut hair out in the UK, and am building a brand based off of current trends and modern styles. I use a photogrphy and videogrphy to market myself as well as social media platforms to help educate and promote what i do! one thing that i believe we are missing, as a hair a beauty community, here in the states are people who are good at fading as well as sheer work! and blending the two arts and that’s the skill set that i’m bringing to Raleigh nc.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
My Advice:
MARKET YOURSELF ! Learn social media it’s your modern day way to promote yourself FOR FREE!

Learn How. to cut all types of hair as well as keeping up with trends understanding hairstyles and looks

MEET PEOPLE/ Connect/ Collab !
Keep learning from other barbers, learn new techniques. never put yourself in a box!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
i’m looking to collaborate with artist! people who love what they do! whether it’s coloring hair, videography, photogrphy, music, video production! i would love to collab with these people to help me create a team! and help bring my idea to raleigh. and not to mention social media influencers/ models!
