Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Aaron W. Bell. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Aaron W., so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?
I’ve learned not to focus so much on those who don’t appreciate me or my skills. I turn my energy inwardly and on the future. There will always be naysayers and you’ll never please every person. So the goal is to set your sights on how you can improve yourself and not worry about people’s opinions you can’t control.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m a people person. I learned that early on. So my love for people led me to wanting to be an entertainer. So as an entertainer, I became a model then as an actor in many different projects and features such as BET, magazines and events. I’m really excited about the future. I have a number of upcoming ideas and opportunities approaching.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
That’s a great question. The 3 skills that were most important to me are resilience, hard work and honesty. Those 3 things helped me keep going even when I didn’t want to.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m always looking for people to collaborate with. That’s what makes this work so great. I love acting, modeling and being a spokes person. But what people don’t know about me is that I also have a great sense of humor. I would love to do a project that involves that aspect
