We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Abi Aba Linus. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Abi Aba below.
Hi Abi Aba, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
From friends and mentors whose stories have inspired me. The progress of their journey has been a great boost for my resilience

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Aba Linus is a Nigerian visual artist who holds a B.A. in Painting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. His work draws deeply from human lived experiences and the dynamic interplay of time, space, and matter. Centering the human form as his core visual language, Linus explores themes such as humanity, love, hate, and history through a fluid engagement with realism and abstraction.
Working primarily with oil paint, acrylic, and charcoal, Linus brings emotional depth and thoughtful narrative to his compositions. His artistic expression is informed by an evolving reflection on the human condition, merging classical techniques with contemporary concerns.
He has exhibited in both local and international platforms, including the Next of Kin Series 7 at Thought Pyramid Art Center, Lagos (2025), the Second Coming of Service in London, UK (2023), and the 3rd International Online Exhibition – Niranta 21 (2022). Linus was also an exhibitor at the inaugural National Arts in Health Week in Nigeria and participated in the Scapes and Forms Workshop IV

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
