Meet Abraham Gray

We recently connected with Abraham Gray and have shared our conversation below.

Abraham, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Every time I did something successful I got more confidence no matter how small those things were. Then that confidence keeps building to bigger and more important things. Always stay positive.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I have been buying and starting businesses for the last 35 years since I was 15 and started into real estate when I was 22. I also have a big lending business for other real estate investors doing fix and flips in Atlanta. What is special about it is that my kids are finally old enough to learn from me and start doing their own deals now.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The 3 most impactful skills I had throughout my journey was always being positive, creative and always try to learn and help people. The best thing anyone can do early in their journey is to hang around other successful people.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I am always looking to collaborate and partner with people that bring me more deals to buy, find people that need to borrow money from me and also help me raise money for new great deals. If they are local to Atlanta they can always come by my office to learn and see what I do. The best way to reach out to me is by email [email protected]
