Meet Abraham Lopez

We were lucky to catch up with Abraham Lopez recently and have shared our conversation below.

Abraham, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
The way I keep creativity alive is by re-watching and re-reading some of my previous films and scripts and hearing music that inspires me to write and to come up with new ideas.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
A little bit about me, I am a director, writer, and producer. I own a motion picture production company called A Greek God Entertainment where we produce motion pictures and proof of concepts. I have completed several proof of concepts that we are looking to develop into feature films. These proof of concepts have been submitted to many film festivals and have accumulated hundreds of awards. We are now in the process of developing these proof of concepts into feature films for either theatrical releases or to go on streaming platforms. As of right now we are currently in development with a new proof of concept called Finding Dan. Besides our current projects, we are also open to collaborating with business owners on developing video content to help further their business visually.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The most important qualities, skills, and areas of knowledge I have learned through my years in the entertainment industry is patience, determination, and willingness to learn new skills. My advice for people who are starting their journey in this business on how to develop or improve on these areas is to study others who have been in this business for a long time who have multiple skills in this industry and who are determined to complete a project through thick and thin and to note that things don’t come instantaneously and success doesn’t just happen overnight.
