Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Adam with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Growing up on a small family farm in the midwest I saw my dad work tirelessly from before the sun came up until well after dark. Managing livestock affords no days off, no holidays, no sick days, no breaks for the heat or the cold. I never once heard a him complain, I saw him as relentlessly driven. I’m very fortunate to have had him as a role model

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As a child we grew and preserved our own vegetables, hunted, fished and butchered everything on the farm, as of unexpected benefit I had little exposure to processed foods. The Cuisine I promote at Fehrenbachers Meats & Eats is hand made, locally sourced and free of harmful additives, preservatives and fillers

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
In my early years I was very lucky to be trained by European certified Master Chefs. From here I learned the fundamentals of cooking as well as Classical and International Cuisine. My advice to young Chefs starting out would be to pay attention the the basics, one of my mentors once told me “a tall building must be built on a sturdy foundation”

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
As a small business owner I find time management to be a constant factor. My role as Chef/Owner leaves me wearing many ‘Hats” and my responsibilities include but are not limited to Cooking, Menu Writing, Marketing, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Maintenance, and every other thing that may pop up on any given day
