Meet Adam Peters

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Adam Peters. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Adam, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

We’ve been a band since we were 14 years old in high school and it has always been of utmost importance to us. So I think our purpose just sort of presented itself in that way.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

We make music together as a core of three friends. Trying new things to keep ourselves excited about our art and putting on shows to entertain our friends and bring life to the communities we’ve been apart of.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Musicality, Friendship and Curiosity. As a band these are really important I think. Without the first one your job will be hard and it relies on everyone in the group to develop in their own time as musicians. Without friendship you will get sick of one another very fast especially on tours and lastly without curiosity you will be stuck in place and never truly develop as a unit.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

Currently we are challenged by financial responsibility and trying to monetise our art in a world that doesn’t really value it.
