We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Adonis Tsilimparis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Adonis, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Luckily. finding my purpose came to me early in life. I knew from childhood that music was my passion.
Everything about it spoke to me. I knew from an early age that I had to make it a part of my life.
I know that not everyone has the same blessing to know their passion but, I fell that if there is
something you care deeply about, you should pursue it and focus all your attention on it.
That’s how you can find your purpose.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I have been a music Supervisor and composer for over 15 year. It has been a great journey that has enriched my life.
Creating music for Films and TV has been such a joy.
In recent years, I have had the pleasure of joining forces with a few other composers to form out own production company called “Cutting Room Music”.
We create music and sound design for Films, TV and Games.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The 3 qualities that have helped me the most would be Focus, Persistence and an acute ability to be honest with yourself. Knowing your limitations and and being truly honest about how far you talents can go is a crucial element to anyone’s success. I would advise anyone to embrace these qualities and nurture them.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
Throughout my childhood, my parents were very good at instilling discipline and focus into my life. My father was a successful businessman and he taught me about the value of discipline. I learned that embracing discipline helped me with focus and determination.
