Meet Adrian “Aiko” Lopez

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Adrian “Aiko” Lopez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Adrian “Aiko”, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

How I keep my creativity alive is by watching movies, listening to music, going outside, talking to friends about their own creativity to find inspiration and drawing! I find art to be really inspirational for me, it definitely keeps me going for my mental health.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My artist name is “mortox.” I make music! For a while, i’ve made mixtapes that only dropped on Soundcloud, with my last & final one being “LOVE25” that has dropped on April 25th of 2025. With all the love & hype around the music i’ve been getting recently, it inspired me to start creating my first studio album “MUSE” debuting really soon.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My Three Most Important qualities were Communication, Self-Awareness & Adaptability, it helped me impact my journey as I can be able to express how I feel more clearly and listening efficiently like others giving me feedback or criticism to anything I bring to the table. I can also be able to adjust to any situation and also push through with it. Most of the times, I can really work around things if the other person is communicating well with me.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

Quietness is really perfect for me, im an introvert so its just a good pair. I’ll have the dark lamp on and reading a book or thinking about ideas for a new project, or just life in general.
