Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Adrianna Cornish. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Adrianna , thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.
I believe that my level of generosity comes directly from my mother and early exposure to travel. To start, my mother Maria is one of the most generous people that you meet. She constantly gives her time, talents, and monetary gifts to family, friends, and trusted organizations. Having been raised by such a woman, I have naturally adopted the same affinity to generosity. In additional to maternal nurturing, early exposure to travel and various cultures has catapulted by level of generosity and cultural competence. I understand that not everyone has the same way of living or the same level of assess to basic necessities, and so it has become my life’s work to help provide for persons whenever able. Whether that is monetarily, through nursing care, bottled water or simply smiling to a stranger that walks by, I believe that generosity is the glue to harmonious living.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I consider myself to be wellness advocate who is purposed to propel people into the pursuit of their own wellness! I live this out daily by working as a registered nurse, spring bottled water owner, and providing total wellness tips and inspiration to my online audience.
Being able to journey with persons, patrons, and patients through to wellness is an upmost joy. As a registered nurse, there is no greater reward than connecting with patients on a daily basis and getting countless reports of how taking attention to their health needs have benefited them over the years and often time over the course of a few days or months. This is an aspect of my calling that I will truly never take for granted!
As the spring bottled owner of Well Whale Water Company LLC. I am able to take this same passion of wellness to provide high quality drinking water to patrons in my local community, and use a portion of the sales to impact families transitioning into their second chance post incarceration. Being able to work within the community in this way has truly been a highlight of my life as Well Whale Water has recently celebrated 1 year of sales!
Finally on a day to day basis, I enjoy encouraging my online community to show up and find the wellness in each day whether it be through a five minute mindfulness session, a thirty minute walk outside, or a simple one minute breathing exercise through the course of a busy day, I am dedicated to educating on total well being!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities and or aspects of my personal and professional journey that have been incredibly impactful so far have been faith, flexibility, and ferventness.
Faith for me, has been through spirituality and relationship with my Savior as the upmost. However, faith has also included believing in myself and my capabilities, and exercising the muscle of self-confidence at any chance that I get. Faith is remembering that whatever I have set my mind to it, it can be done!
Flexibility has also been a crucial aspect of my life’s journey. As a registered nurse this is required on a daily basis as patient situations can change tend to change rapidly and so adaptability is a must. This also translates into my life of business owner. The most successful business owner is one that anticipates and embraces change which is essential to the growth and scaling of business.
Finally ferventness is integral ingredient in obtaining one’s life dreams. To be fervent is to not give up when hard times present themselves. It is pushing through the personal or professional challenges that may arise and keeping your eye on the prize while being an innovative problem solver. So my advice to anyone early on the journey is to hold tight to ferventness it is the fuel that will keep your dreams alive and attainable! Do not let the fire of ferventness fade.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth by John Maxwell is an incredible read that has certainly played a key role in my development as person and business owner. One of my favorite divisions of this book, “The Law of Modeling” goes into particular detail in the importance of having mentor, the type of person to look for, and how this can cause you to experience exponential growth. After reading this, I immediately contacted an individual who I thought would be an excellent mentor and has been so now for over 5 years now. This relationship has allowed me to truly learn, grow, and excel far greater than I would have been able to do alone.
Also throughout this book John Maxwell using the example of Bonsai tree to illustrate the environment, nurturing, and processes required to experience the factors needed to experience growth. Now anytime I see or think of a Japanese Bonsai Tree I am reminded of where I have come from, where I am now, and the necessities of what is required to continue to grow and form in a very distinct manner.
I highly encourage anyone desiring to grow exponentially to read and re-read this book!
