We recently connected with Adrienne Crawford and have shared our conversation below.
Adrienne , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
As a Entrepreneur, Independent Media Producer & Author, I found my passion as a Speaker & Advocate for Mental Health after losing my brother due to a tragic work related accident. It changed my life completely, & this is when my mental health took a quick turn. If you haven’t experienced depression & anxiety and trying to cope with everyday life you really wouldn’t understand, especially with the stigma against mental health .
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I work in the community, hosting events & interviewing for our upcoming documentary on Mental health. My team & I have several projects such as book writing where we collaborate with other Authors, & those who wish to be an Author and it doesn’t require alot of time. We are looking for individuals to interview for both projects, documentary & our book collaborations. I travel all over the US speaking on stages, and featured on all media outlets such as ABC 33/40, WBRC Fox 6, CNN, Fox 5 Atlanta, & appeared on the hottest show in Alabama, Talk of Alabama Tv with Fred Hunter.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back from experiences, and knowing what I have learn now is to first recognize the issue at hand with your mental health. Seek professional help, & complete the treatment in place. You don’t have to suffer alone. I learned getting on stages, in front of media talking about mental health & my experiences helped others wirh challenges that they encountered.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes, I am.l99king for people who has face mental health issues and want to share their stories in my next book project, also I’m looking for individuals to interview on our next documentary project. We are also looking for Entrepreneur’s as well to highlight on both projects.
