We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Airielle Da Gem . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Airielle below.
Airielle , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
It’s a couple of reasons why I rap.Music is therapeutic for me. As a teenager when I was trying to define myself I noticed the men I looked up to respected the female rappers. I loved that and wanted respect. My Dad can sing, make beats and breakdance. I’m talking bout spinning on his head and everything. He was a B boy and in a dance group. Him and my mother was so good at dancing they had a routine they would perform at a club called odells in the 80’s. Thursday Nights at Dads we would have disco nights. He would put me on one leg my sister on the other and dance, beatbox and rap. I just always loved music. My grandmother on my mother’s side had a party every Sunday lol listening to all different types of music. Plus I’m just good at it!
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I would say the three most impactful on my journey is staying hungry , Believing in myself and wanting to show my children to chase their dreams. My advice would be to stay focus on yourself and ignore all nay sayers. Don’t worry about what’s popular or trendy, stay true to your craft. Stay around other creatives and dreamers.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
To all the readers I thank you for your time. Im always looking to collaborate with beat makers, producers, engineers ect. Girlies that need a ghostwriter feel free to reach out!
