Meet Ajunique Dillard

We were lucky to catch up with Ajunique Dillard recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ajunique, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
I do so many things I don’t it ever goes away I’m always pulling from somewhere whether it be the people around me or the things I come across it’s always something that sparks an idea.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My name is Ajunique Dillard I am from Louisville Kentucky and I live in Atlanta Georgia, I am an editorial photographer. I started about four years ago to film my self tapes because I want to be an actress and I realized that I was actually good at taking pictures so I had my friends model for me and that’s when I fell in love. I found out that you can have more than one passion and since my crafts kind of co-exist I get to be in my element and meet people in my crowd all of the time.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Never be afraid to learn what you may believe that you already know, never be scared to ask questions , never be embarrassed to not know, especially in front of people who can teach you. Always surround yourself with people who have been where you are, and are exceeding into higher places. I think that everybody’s journey is different figure out what you like exactly how you want things to go and just do it. Everything comes with risks.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is either Travis Scott, or Lil Yachty I feel like if we combined their fashion choices our artistic beliefs together we can make something absolutely beautiful. I would like to work with more brands or people that have made a name for themselves through fashion that would be super cool.
