We were lucky to catch up with Akin Odebiyi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Akin , so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
I take a “the cup is half full” approach in life. Of course there are challenges but I look at challenges as opportunities for improvement. Your thoughts become your reality and therefore I am always thinking positively even when the situation seems bleak. This mindset has helped me to find solutions to problems, even when others can’t see them. I extend my optimism and love to share it with others so as to give them hope as well.

My name is Akin and together with my wife Alexa, we run Tribe Vibes World. Which is a social media page that explores all things family friendly, we love to review and provide recommendations to places where families such as our own can feel welcomed and comfortable to visit. We have lived in Atlanta, GA for 3 years now and when we first made the move coming from NJ, we didn’t know of any places down here where we could take our family out for a fun evening. Everything was adult oriented and it was difficult for us to find things to do with our little ones. That’s when we decided we were going to create a page where we would recommend the family friendly places that we discovered so that others, would not have to feel left out like we did initially. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that were most impactful on our journey are, networking, consistency, and integrity. My advice for anyone early on their journey is to understand the importance of networking, it’s not just about what you can gain from networking, but how you can also be of service and provide value, remember it is a two way street, this will help you become more credible. Consistency is crucial to success, often times many people will give up right before their breakthrough and they never knew it was just right around the corner, so just keep going! Integrity is the glue that will hold everything together when you feel like things are falling apart. Integrity will also help your reputation and people will get to trust you and know that you are trustworthy
