Alahji , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic started at home. My father was a go-getter. He always wanted my siblings and I to keep going, keep learning, keep asking questions and keep working until our goals are met. That mindset stuck with me ever since. There are many days where I am tired, but I have to keep pushing on.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m an entrepreneur. I am Founder and CEO of NEPA Fashion Week. A bi-annual event that showcases models, designers and aspiring artists. NEPA Fashion Week is an all inclusive brand that excels in diversity and runway excellence. A platform where models of all shapes and sizes are welcomed. We just wrapped up season 1 in October. NEPA Fashion Week season 2 will take place April 18-19th, 2025 in Kingston, Pennsylvania.

I am also a recording artist. I sing and rap specializing in Hip-Hop/R&B/Soul, Pop & House Music. I have a few released tracks. My hit single “Sweet Love (Vibe Wit’ Me) was streamed over 10,000 times in over 50 countries. I also have “CELEBRATE” out now which is a fun Pop-Rap track featuring Cyrie Melody, I consider that track the B-Side of “Sweet Love.” My next single “Forever I Thrive” will be out in a few weeks ahead of my album “Chameleon” which will be out January 3rd, 2025. On all streaming platforms.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Consistency, Confidence, Collaboration.
Those are the big 3C’s to me. You have to be CONSISTENT with you work whether if it’s content, music, shows you have to always grind. Have CONFIDENCE in all that you do. Never doubt yourself, always have the mentality that you will succeed. COLLABORATE please I can’t stress that enough. In order to broaden your audience and expand your brand, you have to collaborate with others. Everyone has a different audience and if you collaborate it’ll introduce you to a whole new world.

My advice to those new on their journey please be PRESENT. Meetings, Events, Shows. Big or small. Be PRESENT. You’ll never know who’s in that room. Don’t make excuses as to why you can’t make it. If you have breath in your body show up. Theres a lot of missed opportunities out there in the world.

I am always looking to collaborate with different creatives. If it’s for modeling, music or fashion, I’m all in. I’m looking to collaborate with those who are serious about their craft. I’m looking to collaborate with Music Artists, Models, Business Owners and Politicians.
