Meet Alejandra Carvajal

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alejandra Carvajal. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alejandra , thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

Oh wow, thanks for asking! I don’t know that I have the answer, but what keeps my creativity going is definitely connection. It sounds cheesy, but I genuinely think the greatest fuel for an original idea is humility and love. The humility to know you don’t have all the answers, and the love to seek out different perspectives. Because ultimately, we’re all just chasing that feeling, right? That little emotional spark that makes us say, ‘This is a great experience!’ I just try to keep my heart open and my mind curious, and the out-of-the-box stuff usually follows.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

At our heart, we’re more than just an event planning company. We treat every client like family. Forget the upselling; our passion is rooted in love, and we firmly believe that the best experiences come from nourishing your emotions. That’s why our amazing team always goes the extra mile to ensure you feel uniquely special, focusing on connection over contracts. Fueled by that same love and passion, we’re thrilled to be growing! Soon, we’ll be opening a new space designed to immerse all your senses, helping us craft the most memorable, heart-led day of your life.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

For anyone just starting out, my best advice on developing these “ingredients” is beautifully simple:

To Develop Love/Passion: Stop chasing the perfect title or company and chase the feeling. What is the part of the work that genuinely lights you up? Focus 80% of your energy there. When you work from a place of passion, you automatically give your best, and it’s infectious.

To Improve Resilience (Beat Self-Doubt): Make a “Nope” list. Whenever that voice of self-doubt pops up and says, “Nope, you can’t do that,” write it down. Then, treat it like a problem to be solved with curiosity, not fear. Self-doubt shrinks when you confront it with a humble, playful plan of action.

To Master Emotional Connection: Listen with intention. In every meeting, conversation, or brainstorming session, try to listen past the words and hear the feeling behind them. When you can connect the work to a core human emotion, your ideas will be the ones that truly connect and stand out.

I hope that helps! It’s all about leading with heart, trusting your ability to figure things out, and enjoying the ride.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Oh, you hit on exactly what makes our hearts sing! We are absolutely on a mission to partner with incredible people to create ‘Dream Weddings for Deserving Couples’. Think of us as the ‘Love Fueled Wish Granters’ of the wedding world. We see these amazing couples who’ve faced huge life hurdles and just can’t make their day happen, and we want to step in, no questions asked, to give them the beautiful, emotional celebration they deserve.

So, yes, we are looking for partners! We are searching for wedding industry folks, vendors who have that big, open heart who believe, like we do, that love and passion are the best materials to build a memory with.

We are looking for collaborators who are:

Generous Thinkers: Those ready to donate a service, a discount, or some creative time. The ones who hear ‘charity wedding’ and immediately think, ‘How can my magic help?’

Emotionally Aligned: Vendors who understand that for these couples, the feeling of the day is more valuable than any extravagant detail.

Team Players: People who want to pool their talents to create a massive, coordinated moment of joy!
