Meet Alejandro Belmonte

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alejandro Belmonte. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alejandro, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I was fortunate to be born to parents who were lovers of cinema, particularly Mexican cinema from the golden age, as well as books and esoteric things. As a result, I grew up watching many movies, reading and listening to stories about ghosts, goblins, and even UFOs. My childhood was filled with imagination and fantasy. From a very young age, I found that creating was my thing – I was always drawing, writing stories, and rehearsing scenes with my friends at school. I knew that I was destined to be an actor – I have come to this world to create beauty.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Alejandro Belmonte and I am an actor. Since I was very young, I have been grateful for knowing my purpose in life, and therefore, I have dedicated myself to studying, working, and perfecting my art. I studied acting at Argos Casazul, attended two-year classes at The Method, and last year I won the Magda Guzman scholarship to attend the Vancouver Film School for the Acting For Film & TV program.

I started from scratch in my career, studying and not knowing anyone, but I am very stubborn. Even though everything seemed against me and no one believed in me, I started working before graduating, and two years later, I got my first leading role in a film called “How Can I Not Love You”. After that, I started working on TV and commercials. I believe that I am a very lucky human being because I do what I love, and people pay me for it. I always have good luck, and I always have a job. Currently, my career boasts more than 70 credits ranging from films, series, short films, and television. For me being an actor is a great happiness and my biggest pasión. I know I will die in a set… I close my eyes meanwhile thinking of this and I smile.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
There are three things you need to keep in mind in order to be successful in life.

First, you must be passionate about what you do. Dedicate yourself to doing what you love, and you will find happiness. If we all did what we love, the world would be a happier place. Once you find what you love, give it your all. That energy and passion will take you to the top.

Second, you must be patient. Trust the universe to guide you on the right path. Keep trying every day, and with each step, you will be closer to your goal.

Always be grateful for what you have. Give thanks for having a family, friends, a roof over your head, and a bed to sleep in. Be thankful to all the people who have helped you get where you are. We all need each other, so treat others the way you want to be treated. The words “thank you” are powerful, so always keep them in mind.

My advice to all those who want to be actors, are just starting, or are simply reading this, remember that this planet is a tiny tiny cell in a vast universe. It’s our home, It belongs to all of us, making us all the same. Everything you do affects not just others but also yourself. You decide whether to have a positive or negative impact on the world. The mark you want to leave on this world is up to you.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My parents, Olivia and Luis, have given me everything. I believe that they are the best parents in the universe. They taught me to dream, but most importantly, they taught me to work hard and fight for my dreams. They instilled in me the belief that anything is possible. They have always supported me during difficult times and given me all the love possible.

I have great admiration for my teachers who have given me the discipline and knowledge necessary to become a better actor. They taught me that actors can change people’s consciousness through their art. They also taught me the importance of discipline and how everything in acting must come from love.

I am grateful to all the directors, producers, casting directors, actors, and my manager Stephanie Ripstein, who have believed in me and allowed me to create wonderful characters, be part of great projects, and have boosted my career.

My friends are a very important part of my life and a great support. Whenever I feel discouraged, they fill me with energy so that I don’t give up. I love them all.

A couple of years ago, I met my partner Khalid, whom I love deeply. I feel very happy to have found my soulmate. I thank him for encouraging me every day, helping me improve my English, taking care of me, cooking for me, filling me with love, making me happy and most importantly, for always believing in me.

To all my beloved followers who have always supported me, my fan club. I’m extremely grateful to you for your love and support. You are the ones who make it possible for me to continue doing what I love. I am thrilled to announce that “Love Without Fear”, a film directed by Juan Fraustro, will soon be released on Prime Amazon and other platforms. I can’t wait for you to see it! Here are some photos of the project and my character “Leo” who I know you will love. Thank you for your love and unconditional support of my career. I love you all!
