Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alejandro Isea. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alejandro , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
From a very early age, I had an inclination towards art in general, but what resonated with me more than anything else was music. I’ve been a percussionist for as long as I can remember, and music has always been present in my life. It didn’t take long for me to start creating my own music: lyrics and melodies. The moment I discovered that through my lyrics I could make people feel what I felt, I realized that not everyone has that ability, and that’s why it became my purpose.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Alejandro Jose Isea Blanco, I’m 23 years old, and music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom tells me that even before I could speak, I was humming songs and playing drums with spoons and pots in the kitchen. As a teenager, I took a few classes in piano and percussion, and then I was given an acoustic guitar, which I learned to play based on my own experimentation. During my teenage years, I also discovered photography and visual arts through a cousin who shares the same passion. With my savings, I bought a camera and started experimenting and working with it, which was enough to make me fall in love with that world. To this day, I’m involved in the visual aspects of my projects and those of my friends.
Musically, just over a year ago, “The Venezuelan Team” was born. I teamed up with Abel Martinez, who is a songwriter, and Joelmy Olivo, a producer. Together with Marcus Braveboy, we began to dive into the world of songwriting for artists and synchronization, or ‘SYNC,’ in TV shows, movies, and more. As of now, this is my main project, and it’s on a good track. We’ve already collaborated with companies like Warner Chappell in their Warner Chappell Production Music division, Super Pitch in France, among others, which keeps us motivated to continue pursuing our professional goals and dreams, both as a team and individually.
On another note, my passion for visual arts led to a marketing company that I co-founded with two of my closest cousins, and it’s the other project that currently holds a lot of priority in my life.
Throughout my journey, I’m primarily grateful to God, as well as to my parents, family, and friends who have supported and motivated me to keep chasing my dreams. I consider myself quite young and still have a lot to learn and paths to explore.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Without a doubt: consistency, discipline, and knowledge.
And my advice would be: Surround yourself with the right people, and don’t worry if your goals change along the way. As long as what you do makes you happy, THAT IS THE PATH.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
I allow myself to feel bad; I take some time to analyze why, I try to internalize what I’ve learned during that short break, and then I go back to doing what I love.
