Meet Alejandro Meola

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alejandro Meola. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alejandro below.

Hi Alejandro, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I’ve always had a vocation for music, when choosing a career path more than the “what?” for me it was about the “how?” and gathering enough courage to pursue it. Over the years I’ve learned that my purpose is to serve, inspire and comfort other people through my songs.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m argentine-american musical artist. Based in the New York City area since 2013, I was born in Miami and grew up in Buenos Aires. Over the years got the opportunity to release a number of records and perform my music in major cities of the US and Europe like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Nashville, London, Paris, Berlin and Barcelona.

New album “VIVO” out now, listen on Spotify, watch the sessions on YouTube and connect with Alejandro on Instagram @alejandromeola. Tour dates and more info at alejandromeola.com

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Perseverance, resilience and faith. My only advice for anyone early in their journey would be to believe in yourself and what you do, your dreams dream you.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
I’ve currently taken on the challenge to keep contributing to the rock en Español landscape as well as the broader US latin music scene, aiming to open up new markets for my music while persevering with a more organic sound rooted in the folk tradition. I believe my new album “VIVO” is an honest reflection of that and hope you have a chance to check it out
