Meet Alejandro montesinos

We were lucky to catch up with Alejandro Montesinos recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alejandro , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
It’s a natural instict of being competitive , I love to achieve goals that makes me happy so I can pay forward that knowledge to other who may learn from it , life is about teaching and learning . In problems I find opportunities.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
It’s hard to define this because I feel as a go getter I am a business ” opportunist” looking for the right one in the daily basis. When I wake up I always tell to my self ” its not about how many rejections I get , it only takes one yes , one opportunity to make a difference ” meaning my self steam cant be affected , let down just because I encounter multiple rejections. While I was modelling for years in more than 5 countries I suffered those rejections… it made me very sad indeed , it was making my life miserable and I became insecure therefore arrogant , pretentious and moody and that didn’t help either. One day in a casting with 100 male models I was picked to work for Lady gaga music video when I was chosen then I notice that I wasn’t better now or a worse male model but understood life is about timing which you cant control. Patience is a key is life , and luck is something that in most cases occurs when you look for it and attract it. After all experience makes me who I am today and still learning everyday.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I believe

1- Motivate and passionate in relationships being outgoing and social and natural sales person.
2- Sales regarding knowledge.
3- Quality: I like to help people I guess

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
They opened me doors for a great education they made me go to UK to study English and business which was the reason I am in USA today .
