Meet Alejandro Ruiz

We were lucky to catch up with Alejandro Ruiz recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alejandro, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

I get my optimism from knowing every day is a new day for a better opportunity. I read this Japanese book called Ikigai, which is about finding a meaning to live, I found that everyday is a new adventure a new experience. Reading that book made me develop and change as an artist a lot, stressing from what I would create each day. To then taking my time with my projects. I truly believe that I can be one of greats, it is now on me to put in that work and see where it takes me. My family is a big reason why I keep moving as well, they have seen me at my worst and my best, they might not understand what I’m doing at times but yet they still push me. They prefer that I do something I love and enjoying doing. I also get my optimism from my friends, I have wonderful friends that have always believed in me. My high school friends they know they will be in my films they’re my cameos. My friend Kevin, he’s my filmmaker partner, we’ve directed together. My friend Abhi, he’s one of my rocks, we have so much planned the world isn’t ready. My friend Samo he got me into fashion, we’ve worked on many creative projects together. My friend Tyler he’ll be the business mind of many companies! I have so many more I can name but they know who they are and I love yall!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I always knew I wanted to do something that had to do with creation, art, movies, anything. When I was a kid I didn’t know, but when I got older I knew I wanted to make movies. I got into university and then meet my good friend, Kevin Corral, from there we started working on our own Spider-Man fan show. Eventually we created our own Production company known as SGP Studios, right now it might just be an Instagram account but one day it’ll take over Hollywood and the world. This is where I want to use for film projects, however, around 2022/2023 I rediscovered my love of art, painting, photography, etc. Since then I’ve curated art galleries, been part of different art shows, and have found my creative expression through all forms of art. I was even able to a designer for a fashion show, I’m very grateful for my friend Nicholas to have included me. This eventually made me decide to create my own brand that is called BEWILDERED_ca, this is the brand where I will continue more creative projects, such as a magazine, fashion (clothing), personal projects, producing projects, and my art.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The first quality I learned was that even if you don’t have the talent don’t let yourself down. Second would be keep doing keep creating, hard work triumphs over talent. Third is never giving up, even when you fail, get thrown down to the ground, still get up and keep moving forward. Ill give everyone advice I learned from my father, only a lazy person dies of hunger even if you’re poor you’ll find a way to move forward.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

The World Audience. Everyone. I will show them the best of the best.
