Aleksei, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My path to confidence and self-assurance has been shaped by years of dedicated practice, pursuit of excellence, and early exposure to performing. Growing up, I was a sight to behold with my oversized round glasses held together by strips of tape. At school, I was an easy target for bullies who never missed a chance to remind me of my odd appearance.
But those hurtful words only fueled my determination. I refused to let their negativity define me. Instead, I poured my heart and soul into my passion for music. Despite the doubts and discouragement, I persevered.
It wasn’t easy. It took countless hours of practice, unwavering dedication, and an indomitable spirit to push through the challenges. There were moments when self-doubt crept in, when it seemed like the whole world was against me. But I refused to give up.
Slowly but surely, my hard work began to pay off. I honed my skills on the accordion, pouring my emotions into every note I played. With each 1st place in competitions, I proved the naysayers wrong. I showed them that with determination and passion, anything is possible.
Today, I stand tall, no longer defined by the taunts of my past. I am a testament to the power of resilience and perseverance. And as I look back on my journey, I am grateful for every obstacle I faced, for they only made me stronger.
Setting ambitious goals has been key for me. Whether it’s conquering complex compositions or delivering flawless performances, each achievement has boosted my belief in myself. Plus, the support and guidance of mentors and family have been invaluable in providing encouragement and helpful feedback. Ultimately, it’s been my dedication, perseverance, and deep passion for music that have shaped my confidence and self-esteem, both on and off the stage.
As a musician, I’ve encountered my fair share of challenges, including rejection and criticism, in the competitive realm of music. Yet, through these trials, I’ve come to understand the paramount importance of confidence and self-assurance. They serve as my armor against adversity, propelling me forward in the face of obstacles. Each setback becomes an opportunity for growth, a chance to refine my craft and reaffirm my belief in myself.

With over two decades of experience in the realm of music education, composition, and performance, I have dedicated myself to honing my skills and enriching the lives of others through the power of music.
My journey has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence, earning me international recognition for my mastery of the accordion and unwavering dedication to musical artistry. From captivating audiences with my virtuosic performances to inspiring musicians through mentorship and education, I am driven by a profound love for music and a desire to share its transformative power with the world.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As I prepare for my upcoming classical music concert in Los Angeles, I reflect on the three key aspects that define my musical journey and shape my artistic endeavors. Firstly, Musical Virtuosity is fundamental to my craft. Through years of dedicated practice, I’ve mastered the accordion, performing complex classical pieces with precision and emotion. My goal is to convey the depth and intricacies of each composition through my playing.
Secondly, Artistic Leadership is essential in organizing and producing concerts. I take charge in ensuring a cohesive artistic vision from start to finish, leading rehearsals, collaborating with musicians, and overseeing every aspect of the production to create an unforgettable experience.
Lastly, Cultural Ambassadorship is a core part of my mission. I actively promote understanding and appreciation of the accordion and classical music through performances and educational initiatives. By fostering cultural exchange, I aim to inspire a deeper connection to the beauty of classical music.
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
In the last year, my most significant growth has been realizing my dream of organizing a classical music concert mixing accordion and orchestra. This project marks a milestone in my musical journey, blending personal aspirations with professional goals. The preparation for this concert began with a spark of inspiration. As I envisioned the depth a live orchestra performance could bring to the concert, I embarked on meticulous planning and collaboration with acclaimed musicians. It was a decision fueled by passion and a commitment to pushing my artistic boundaries.
From selecting repertoire to coordinating rehearsals, every step has been both thrilling and challenging. Yet, with each hurdle overcome, I’ve grown not only as a musician but also as a leader. Through determination and belief in my vision, I’ve started turning my dream into reality.
As the show approaches, I feel a deep sense of pride and accomplishment. This journey has expanded my musical horizons and taught me valuable lessons in perseverance. It’s been a transformative experience, fueling my passion for music and inspiring me to continue pushing boundaries in my artistic pursuits.
