Alena , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

Finding my purpose started with a simple love for creating special moments. From a young age, I was drawn to the idea of making people happy, especially through beautifully arranged experiences. I’ve always believed that the most memorable moments in life are often the simplest, like sharing a meal with loved ones in a beautiful setting. This belief sparked my passion for picnics and eventually led me to start Your Lovely Moments.

As I got more involved in luxury picnics, I realized that my purpose wasn’t just about organizing events; it was about creating memories that people would cherish. I discovered that I could combine my love for style, fashion, and celebrations to make these experiences not just beautiful, but truly magical. This realization helped me see that my purpose is to help others celebrate life’s special moments in the most beautiful and meaningful way possible.

Every time I see the joy on my clients’ faces, I’m reminded of why I do this. It’s that connection to their happiness that keeps me inspired and drives me to keep creating unforgettable experiences.

I’m Alena Apollonsky, and I’m the owner of Your Lovely Moments, a luxury picnic company. My journey began with a deep passion for creating beautiful, memorable experiences that bring joy to others. Over time, this passion grew into a business where I could turn ordinary moments into extraordinary celebrations.

What excites me most about Your Lovely Moments is the opportunity to craft unique, personalized picnics that go beyond the standard setup. Each picnic is a blend of style, creativity, and attention to detail, tailored to reflect the personalities and preferences of my clients. Whether it’s a romantic date, a birthday party, or a baby shower, I take pride in creating an atmosphere that’s not just beautiful, but truly magical.

What makes Your Lovely Moments special is our commitment to going the extra mile for our clients. We don’t just provide a service; we create memories that last a lifetime. I always ask our clients what we can do to make their celebration even more special, and then we make it happen.

Recently, we’ve been expanding our offerings to include new elements that enhance the picnic experience. For example, we’ve introduced an ‘umbrella hideout’ upsell to provide extra shade for comfort in San Diego’s sunny weather, and we’ve also added unique decor options, such as the “fall theme” and an “Aperol Spritz” style. We’re always looking for ways to elevate our services and make each event truly unforgettable.

I’m happy to announce that “Your Lovely Moments” is now offering “Bachelorette” and “Birthday” celebrations. We’re taking our unique style and careful planning to make these events extra special. Whether it’s a lively bachelorette party or a memorable birthday, I’m here to help make it memorable.

As we continue to grow, I’m focused on maintaining the high standards that have made “Your Lovely Moments” successful, while also exploring new ideas and locations to keep things fresh and exciting. I’m passionate about what I do, and I’m excited to keep creating beautiful, joyful moments for my clients.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three things that made the biggest difference in my journey were creativity, attention to detail, and perseverance. Creativity helped me design unique picnics that made Your Lovely Moments stand out. Attention to detail ensured everything was perfect, and perseverance kept me going through tough times.

For anyone starting out, my advice is to keep your creativity alive by finding new ideas and thinking outside the box. Focus on the small details because they really matter, and don’t give up when things get hard—stay committed to your goals and keep pushing forward.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

Over the past year, my biggest area of growth has been learning how to expand Your Lovely Moments while keeping the quality and personal touch that make us unique. As we’ve started offering new celebrations like “Bachelorette” and “Birthday” events, I’ve worked on improving our processes and managing a larger team, all while making sure each picnic is just as special. This experience has shown me how important it is to grow without losing what made our company great in the first place.
