Alena, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
As a pop female artist & Guitarist I found my purpose in music through self-reflection, identifying strengths, exploring influences, experimenting with styles, connecting with the audience, collaborating, defining a message, setting goals, staying authentic, and adapting over time. This process involves understanding personal motivations, embracing unique qualities, and continuously evolving in the pursuit of authentic artistic expression.

Alena Ciera, an American Pop artist and gifted guitarist hailing from Maryland, is a true force in the world of music. Her journey is marked by impactful collaborations and unforgettable performances.With an impressive list of collaborations including David Byrne’s American Utopia, Yolanda Adams, Cee Lo Green, Bela’dona, and more, Alena’s musical path has been defined by innovation and creative synergy.Having graced the stages of iconic venues such as The St. James Theater, Jamming Java, the Snally Gaster Festival, The National Stadium, The Eagle Arena, The Audi Stadium, Pearl Street Warehouse, and many more, she’s proven to be a captivating presence.Alena’s artistic evolution is deeply intertwined with the dynamic Dmv music scene, where she currently resides.
