Meet Alessandro (aka AM Dandy) Meynardi

We were lucky to catch up with Alessandro (aka AM Dandy) Meynardi recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alessandro (aka AM Dandy), so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
A lot of hard work, a lot of practice, a lot of dedication and commitment

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a professional musician. I play guitar, compose and produce. Occasionally I sing as well and I am founder and owner of Black Lotus Recording, a recording studio built by musicians for musicians of any genre.

I love any of those activities. Make your biggest passion your job and you’ll never work one day in your life. Non completely true but mostly.

I would define myself a performer artist and composer mainly, but since I arrived in LA I started to produce several artists for necessity. I then eventually started to like it enough to make it a pretty regular activity. While the studio as well was born due to the desire of recording professionally any instrument at zero costs. It turned into a real business since almost a year

I perform as solo artist (AM Dandy) in different sub-projects (a Latin Rock one, a power Rock Fusion one), with Thunderpetz as lead guitar and singer, as guitarist in the David Belle band and Matilde G at the moment.
I compose and produce for artists and for brands as well such as Josie Maran

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
first thing I can think of is stamina. You must be good and skilled but I think being able to keep high rhythms for long periods is necessary in today’s music industry. I think of commitment consequently, from practicing to the works I’m called to do.
And then optimism. A good mood will help you to succeed in your every day tasks, even when in trouble

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
Plenty of books, from the biographies to the social books, but now II would say the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu. Life changing, a new perspective on life
