Meet Alessandro Gracy

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alessandro Gracy. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alessandro below.

Hi Alessandro, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
Imposter syndrome was something I constantly struggled with at the start of my business, I overcame it by acknowledging my achievements. When I sat down and started to realize that each customer of mine put their faith in my and my team, it became a reassurance in what I built .

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As a business owner I truly strive to create the best possible service for our clients. And one way to do that is to be able to reach a broader range of clients. We are hoping to expand our team to service Orange County in the near future. The expansion would also create new positions within our company, ultimately improving the company culture for our team.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
For me the most important skills when starting my journey were planning, communication , and marketing. It was fundamental to keep track of customer needs , schedules and inventory. The customer service skill really helped create an individualized experience for each client we booked and would lead to return visits. As with any business marketing is crucial for getting first time clients and reaching new markets. For those early in their journey I always recommend to do as much reading as possible on any topics you want to learn. This is the next best thing when a mentor is not available.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The book that has had the most impact on me is “Good Luck” by Alex Rovira. What I love most about this book is that it’s really easy to follow along for all reading levels. But the content inside is indispensable. The overarching theme of the book is that a big part of having good luck is to constantly put yourself in positions that will lead to where you want to go, even if the odds aren’t great just do the right work continuously and consistently and you will reach your goal.
