We recently connected with Alexander Orozco and have shared our conversation below.
Alexander, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I discovered my life’s purpose in late 2024, though it was initially confusing and frustrating, my destiny has involved the world of food, a field that seemed completely at odds with my history as a picky eater and inexperienced cook, my struggles with it have often left me feeling behind.
One day I became so upset that I was not able to provide for my family, helping out so many and doing it with all my heart, I got upset at GOD and threw my chain on the floor in a moment of anger.
I know he had gotten upset at me, because I lost communication with him for a while, but after a period of reflection, he responded that the true calling was never about the food itself, which is a universal language that brings the world together, but that my purpose is centered on my inherent qualities, my personality, charisma, my capacity for inspiring and caring for others, you see, my purpose in life is not to show you my superpowers, but to show you yours.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a pioneer to push street vendors on instagram and I have been supporting small businesses for the past decade, let me tell you that it has been a magical journey, one that I never asked for, it found me, but at the moment, I have been concentrating on my family, they are my biggest joy, they are my everything, my queen Carolina, our baby boy Xavier, our bay boy Julian, cherishing the little things in life, creating memories, because at the end of the day, we only get one chance, everything else is just the blessings that keep coming to us and we are going to keep being grateful and enjoying them.
I’m excited to see what collaboration we have in store in the future, I also acknowledge that I can have an impact on people when I speak, so look out for a podcast in a HOOD near you, because we are going to keep inspiring as many people as we can, any way we can.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
• Learning to love yourself, knowing who you are is one of the most powerful tools that I have gained from this journey, you just have to be able to give yourself the credit you deserve, regardless of your past traumas.
• Be different, stand out, be considerate of others, trust me, it’ goes a long way, my network extends from abuelita’s cooking carnitas at their homes, to CEO’s of the biggest brands in the world and everything in between.
• Be kind to yourself, as humans, we are the hardest on ourselves, allow yourself to fail and start looking at those failures as learning lessons, changing your mindset set from negative thoughts, to coaching thoughts.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My wife Carolina has been my rock, she has gone through so much with me, my highs, my lows, she has guided me through many things, I truly don’t know where I would be today if she wasn’t in my life, but I wouldn’t be where I am, if it wasn’t for her.
