Meet Alexandra Halthen

We recently connected with Alexandra Halthen and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandra, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
The journey of finding my purpose began at a young age the moment I realized that being happy mattered more than doing everything “right.” That single shift of placing fulfillment above achievement became the compass that has guided every chapter of my life. It is the same compass I now help women reconnect with as they build lives and businesses that feel deeply fulfilling.

Today, I am the founder of Radiant Life Design, a boutique branding and website design studio for women-led businesses, and a yoga teacher who helps women come home to themselves. But my purpose didn’t emerge from a business plan or a strategic career path. It began with an inner awakening

I grew up a high achiever. A straight-A student who followed all the rules, kept the peace, and built a life that looked perfect from the outside. By college, I was on track to become a doctor, pursuing a path I chose at thirteen because I believed success meant prestige and a six-figure income.

But midway through a double major in pre-med and psychology, everything shifted. Studying the nature of consciousness, quantum physics, and the human psyche opened an inner door, and I suddenly understood that accomplishment meant nothing without genuine happiness and fulfillment.

What followed was a decade of deep spiritual and worldly exploration. My purpose revealed itself through several lightning-bolt moments of awareness, each arriving years apart during intense chapters marked by burnout, transition, and/or emotional upheaval.

In my twenties, I immersed myself in meditation, metaphysics, yoga, and teachings from Indigenous cultures across North and South America. Those experiences were profound because they helped me build my relationship with God and my Soul clearly.

Through that connection, I felt an undeniable truth rise through me that my highest purpose was to be Love and bring more love, light, and healing into the world through my being. But while this high-level, inner clarity gave me my why it didn’t immediately show me what my purpose practically looked like in the world. That disconnect between the inner knowing and the outer expression became my guiding force.

During those years, I learned to trust myself as I continued discovering myself. I learned to listen to my body, emotions, and intuition instead of numbing, escaping, or overruling them. They became an inner guidance system that quietly revealed what was meant for me and what was not. They showed me what drained my energy and what brought me alive. They helped me sense the next step even when I didn’t know the final destination. These inner signals taught me how to live my purpose practically, and they began showing me how to create my own version of Heaven on Earth.

For a season, I worked in event production and marketing/design for a small company focused on bringing Indigenous teachings to the Western world. That time was revolutionary. It taught me that embodying love is expressed through present, intentional relationships with all things: with myself, with the Earth, with food and alcohol, with community, with the way we walk the Earth.

But after finding myself on the side of the road with my car broken down, swimming in debt, without a home, and unsure how I would climb out of it, another realization came through. My purpose wasn’t to escape the world. It was to be in the center of modern culture and everyday life and bring my love, light, and wisdom there.

That realization led me back into the “ordinary” world. I took a marketing role in the concrete jungle of Tampa, Florida. The shift was disorienting. I struggled to reconcile the intentional lifestyle I had cultivated with the buzzing pace of business culture centered around ROI and productivity. It made me question everything I thought I knew about my identity and purpose.

I now look back on this chapter with deep gratitude. As I grew in leadership within the company, I developed the strategic and practical skills required to build and grow a business. I didn’t know it then, but this chapter taught me how to translate purpose into form and create meaningful impact. It is the very work I now guide women through as they transform their purpose into a presence that moves their business forward.

During this pivotal time in Tampa, I also met my soulmate and husband. The emotional safety, support, and communication we’ve cultivated has been one of my greatest catalysts for growth, transformation, empowerment and finding the confidence to live my purpose more fully. Through our relationship, I learned a deeper dimension of my purpose: awakening the feminine within myself and nurturing harmony with the masculine, both internally and externally.

Soon after we got married we moved to Greenville, SC, where my life and all of the separate puzzle pieces finally began weaving themselves together. My marketing career deepened, I became a yoga teacher, I found community, and eventually I started my own business. Looking back, I can see how every seemingly separate chapter was quietly preparing me to live my purpose in practical, meaningful ways.

Today, the threads of my life have formed a clear tapestry. My work at Radiant Life Design helps women align who they are with a strategic, intentional brand and business presence that amplifies their purpose and impact. My yoga teaching offers a path back to the body, the nervous system, and the soul. These are not separate callings. They are two expressions of the same purpose: helping women live and lead radiant lives by coming into alignment with the truth of who they are and why they are here.

Through it all, I’ve learned that purpose begins as a why, an inner knowing that comes from the soul. The how reveals itself more slowly as we navigate our circumstances, follow the signals of our inner guidance, and grow through each chapter of life. Not all of those chapters are pretty, but they are equally important and sometimes the messiest of chapters are the biggest catalysts towards fulfillment. Purpose evolves with us. It takes on new expressions as we do, and I sense the next expression of mine will unfold through motherhood.

What I know for certain is that purpose is not a destination or a job title. It is a relationship between our soul, our body, and the world we’re here to serve. It begins with a single seed of belief, a quiet “yes” to something greater than ourselves, and it grows a little bit every time we choose what feels true. When we live that way, we don’t just find purpose. We become it.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the founder of Radiant Life Design, a boutique brand & web design studio that helps women-led businesses harness the power of their brand & online presence to move the needle for their business.

Through my signature Brand Plan process, I help women uncover their brand’s biggest opportunities for growth and bridge the gap between their vision, the depth of the value they offer & how they show up online, so their brand and digital presence truly work for them and help them live their purpose more fully and abundantly.

I love working with women entrepreneurs because I believe women start businesses to make people’s lives better in some way. My approach blends strategy and soul, helping them align their brand and online presence with their vision, attract the right clients naturally, and grow their impact the feminine way through alignment, geniune connection, and authenticity rather than push, hustle, or overtly salesy marketing tactics.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1) Learn to listen inward. My greatest breakthroughs happened when I stopped overriding my body, emotions, and intuition and started listening to them with compassion and trust. Most of us are taught to push through discomfort, numb our feelings, or silence our inner voice. But your inner world is designed to guide you toward what is meant for you and away from what drains your spirit. We may not be able to see the big picture at the time, and others might not be able to either, but our inner guidance system will lead us step by step towards our intentions. We live in a world where we are safe to do this now. My advice is to spend time getting to know your mind and ego intimately so that you can distinguish it from the wisdom of your intuition. Yoga taught me the language of my body, meditation taught me the language of my soul, and emotionally safe relationships taught me emotional intelligence and expression. This inner listening is my internal compass that has led me from pain to deep fulfillment again and again.

2) Boldly face your deepest fears, do not run.
Fear is insidious and subtle. It hides in our beliefs, our patterns, how we hold ourselves, and the stories we tell about who we have to be to stay safe. Many people let fear quietly steer their daily choices in life, relationships, and career without even realizing it. My advice is two-fold. Make friends with your fear, feel it deeply and take aligned action even if you feel afraid. That is the way through fear. That is how it dissolves. Second, be willing to allow your belief systems to evolve. Some of our deepest fears arise when something challenges our sense of safety or identity. But we can only grow as much as we are willing to evolve our beliefs and see beyond our current perspective. For me, this willingness to face fear has allowed me to overcome deeply unhealthy situations, change careers, start my business, do things I never imagined I was capable of, and step fully into the work I am called to do with women.

3) Have courage to honor yourself.
Many of us, especially women, are conditioned to prioritize others’ expectations over our own well-being. We stay in situations that drain us because we do not want to disappoint others or disrupt stability. But honoring yourself is not selfish. It is the foundation of sovereignty, boundaries, creativity, and fulfillment. My advice is to practice choosing yourself in small ways. Choose rest when you are tired. Speak up with healthy boundaries when you are not being respected. Follow what energizes you and gently release what does not. It may feel like letting go or losing something, but we can never lose what is True. And sometimes we need to let go of the familiar to create space for something greater. Learning to honor yourself creates the clarity and confidence we need to pursue a meaningful life and live our purpose with strength and integrity.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My ideal client is a purpose-driven woman entrepreneur who has already built something meaningful. She is ready to grow into her next chapter and knows she could use some support with her marketing. She values alignment, clarity, and impact and wants a brand and online presence that works harder for her, reflects the depth of what she offers, attracts the right clients naturally, and supports her in creating the life and business she’s envisioning.
