We were lucky to catch up with Alexandra Repetto recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alexandra, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I learned the true meaning of hard work and sacrifice from my mom, who dedicated her life to providing for us despite overwhelming challenges. She was a woman of incredible strength—navigating life as a single mother of three with only an elementary school education and very little English. She gave up so much to ensure we had opportunities, and her resilience shaped the work ethic I carry with me today. Now, as she faces the battle of Alzheimer’s, her courage and determination inspire me more than ever to live fiercely, to embrace life fully, and to honor the sacrifices she made for us.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My journey into real estate began in 2016, after years of working in higher education where I focused on student recruitment and building relationships with families around the world. I was always passionate about helping people, and I knew I wanted to transition into an industry where I could continue that mission, but with a focus on homeownership. After eight years of hard work, I proudly opened my own brokerage, and seeing my family name in the logo was one of the most gratifying moments of my life. What drives me each day is the profound impact I have on families, whether it’s helping them buy their first home or guiding them as they move on to their next chapter. Real estate is a field that will always require the human touch, and knowing that I’m making a difference in people’s lives in a way that can’t be replaced by automation keeps me motivated every single day.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As a real estate professional, there are three key areas that are essential to success. First, it’s all about working with people—if you don’t genuinely enjoy connecting with and helping others, this career is not for you. Building relationships and understanding clients’ needs is at the core of what we do. Second, ongoing education is crucial. No matter how many years of experience you have, the industry is constantly evolving, whether it’s new strategies, market shifts, or changes in legal documents. Staying informed is essential to properly guide your clients. Lastly, controlling your emotions is vital. Real estate transactions can be high-stress, but it’s important to approach every situation with logic and integrity. The ability to remain level-headed and focused ensures that you make decisions with your clients’ best interests at heart, no matter the circumstances.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m eager to collaborate not only with companies on a corporate level but also with individuals looking to buy or sell real estate across the entire state of Florida. My background in international business development has equipped me with the skills to work with people from all cultures, allowing me to connect and understand diverse needs. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I can seamlessly communicate and provide exceptional service to a broad range of clients, ensuring that every transaction is handled with care and expertise.
