Alexandria, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose because I didn’t see someone who looked like me growing up in my career field. I work in the music industry specifically behind the scenes as an artist manager and consultant and although we exist we need more of us.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am the host of the Words From a Warrior podcast. I recently pivoted from my artist management firm to pursue something more fulfilling. My goal is to inspire and uplift women entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry. I share my personal stories and solutions as well as interview other women to provide a different viewpoint.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three most important skills that were impactful for me were, trusting myself, rejection is redirection, and keeping everything in perspective. Improving upon these skills starts with trusting yourself 100% even when things feel weird and wrong. When you trust yourself you are able to see things and people for what they are which softens the blow when being redirected.
