Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alexia Melocchi. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Alexia, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I feel destiny brought me to my purpose. When I was a little girl in Italy I loved going to the movies and watching American television shows. I had a deep instinctual understanding of the power of storytelling and the effect it can have on individuals and society as whole. I got to move to America at the age of 16 and right after high school to work in Hollywood through a series of serendipities, synchronicities and my innate skill in recognizing the potential in an artist or story. By helping others in the process of content creation in film and tv, I found my own voice and purpose, which had to do with leveraging my personal brand and connections to create a perfect convergence of business, mindset and creativity for founders, artists and brands that knew they were meant for more and truly wanted to contribute to raising human consciousness through their endeavors, instead of chasing fame.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m a Hollywood producer, author, podcaster, and international consultant, and I wear each of those hats with one mission: to amplify bold, authentic voices and powerful stories that leave a lasting imprint—on screen, on paper, and in business. I’ve been in the entertainment industry for over three decades, and I’ve had the privilege of selling over 50 films globally, developing content across cultures, and working with some of the most brilliant creative minds in the world.
What excites me most is the intersection of storytelling and strategy. I don’t just create content—I build legacies. Whether I’m producing a film, helping a solopreneur refine their brand, or interviewing thought leaders on The Heart of Show Business podcast, I bring a Hollywood mindset to everything I do: visionary, values-driven, and unapologetically bold.
I’m also proud of my work as a consultant and founder of Little Studio Films, where we now offer personal brand strategy and creative positioning services for entrepreneurs, artists, and innovators who are ready for their close-up—literally and figuratively. We recently expanded our publishing division, launching a slate of books with strong film/TV adaptation potential, including my own, An Insider’s Secret: Mastering the Hollywood Path.
And yes, something new is always brewing. We’re developing a mini-course on Hollywood pitch tactics and started publishing books that beg to become movies or tv shows. I’m also launching a mastermind group soon for international creatives and founders who want to learn the inside game of global partnerships and collaborations.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three things that shaped my journey the most weren’t just skills—they were soul-deep traits that refused to quit: resilience, relationship-building, and intuitive vision. That came out of knowing my purpose and place in the world.
Resilience was non-negotiable. I came to America as a teenager with a single mother and $5,000. No safety net. Just the will to build something real, lasting, and mine. In this business—and life—you get told no more times than you can count. The secret? I made no mean “next.”
Relationship-building was my currency before I had any. I learned early on that this industry—and really, any industry—is built on trust, not transactions. People work with those who show up with integrity, consistency, and a little bit of magic. I didn’t collect contacts. I nurtured alliances.
Vision—the intuitive kind—was my compass. I always saw the bigger picture, even when others couldn’t. Whether it was a script that could be sold internationally or a brand that needed a Hollywood-style glow-up, I saw potential where others saw problems. That’s what kept me ahead of the curve.
My advice? Start by getting clear on who you are—not who you’re trying to impress. Then, build skills around your truth, not trends. Learn to listen more than you speak. Show up before you’re “ready.” And remember, doors don’t just open—you have to know how to knock, and sometimes, how to build your own.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
From my mother, I learned courage in its purest form. She had the guts to leave an abusive marriage and bring me to a country where anything was possible—so I could have the chance to truly blossom. Her words became my lifelong mantra: “It’s not about how others define you—it’s how you define yourself.”
From my father, I learned through absence. His lack of presence taught me that the most essential love is the one I cultivate within myself. That I don’t need external validation to be whole. That I can embody the divine feminine in all her fullness—not by shrinking when others disappear, but by rising even higher. And when fear shows up? That’s my cue to go bolder.
