Meet Alexis Bennett

We were lucky to catch up with Alexis Bennett recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Alexis with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic is all thanks to my dad! From a young age, he instilled in me the value of hard work and tackling obstacles head-on. He’s shown me that with persistence and dedication, I can handle anything that comes my way. His lessons have really shaped how I approach my work and life.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I started ‘The ACM Agency’ to support small businesses with their social media needs. I’m passionate about creating and producing engaging content, and my goal is to stay ahead of trends while connecting with followers to boost awareness.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that have been most impactful in my career journey are always seeking to learn more about my industry, being curious by asking questions with other business owners, and staying adaptable because this industry is constantly evolving.

My advice to those starting out is to get in the room! You don’t have to be perfect, just show up. Keep learning, let your creativity flow, and stay flexible-these skills will help you and your business grow!

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents have done for me is believe in me wholeheartedly. When I was 12, they bought me my first camera, and I spent hours making YouTube videos around the house. They were always the first to see my final edits and even joined in on my videos. Their support continued as when I told my dad I wanted to start ‘The ACM Agency”, he gifted me a Canon camera. Their support and encouragement has been a constant source of motivation.
