Meet Ali Valentine

Hi Ali , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic is shaped by a diverse array of influences, including those around me and several role models in my life. Figures like Kobe Bryant, Freddie Mercury, and my own parents have played a significant role in inspiring and guiding me. Observing those around me has let me to witness the dedication and commitment that can drive success. Whether it’s colleagues, mentors, or friends, their relentless pursuit of excellence motivates me to push my own boundaries and consistently strive for improvement.

I truly admire Kobe Bryant, whose work ethic and relentless pursuit of greatness transcended his field of basketball. In the world of music, Freddie Mercury’s extraordinary talent and legendary performances embody the essence of true artistry. Last but certainly not least, my parents with their unwavering support, guidance, and example have instilled in me a deep understanding of the value of hard work, integrity, and determination.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, California, with Iranian roots. What sets me apart is my unique blend of opera training and rock sensibility. Music has been my lifelong companion, and I believe in the power of health, fitness, and music to uplift and inspire. I aim to create a positive impact by making people’s moods better, leading to better decisions and accomplishments.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three essential qualities and skills that have profoundly influenced my journey are consistency, adaptability, and hard work. These principles have formed the foundation of my success, reminding me that there are no shortcuts. As I have walked through doors opened by others, I aim to become a door-opener for future aspiring artists.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
As a solo artist, my main challenge is having a limited budget. However, I am dedicated to working hard and getting creative to produce high-quality content, record my music, and release it to my audience. I champion the opportunity to explore creative solutions and make the most of the resources available to me, ensuring that my artistic vision comes to life in the best possible way.
