Meet Alina Markeeva

We were lucky to catch up with Alina Markeeva recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alina, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

I stay inspired by everyday things — from a cool coffee cup to trending sounds on TikTok. I scroll with purpose, notice what catches my eye, and think how I can make it my own. But honestly, the main thing is to not be afraid to be yourself. In UGC, people connect with real energy, not perfection. So I just create, even if it’s not “ideal” — that’s where the magic usually happens

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a UGC creator who moved to the U.S. not long ago, and creating content helped me find myself again. At first, everything felt unfamiliar and overwhelming — I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but filming simple videos and sharing real thoughts gave me direction.

Now I create authentic content for brands, mostly in beauty, lifestyle, fashion, and wellness. What’s special about it? It’s real. I don’t try to be someone I’m not — and I think that’s what people and brands connect with.

Right now I’m focused on growing my Instagram and helping others who want to start with UGC but don’t know how. I share tips, ideas, and what worked for me. I’m also working on creating digital products and maybe even a small online course for beginners — something I wish I had when I started.

UGC for me is more than content — it’s a way to express yourself, connect with others, and turn creativity into something meaningful.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I think the biggest things were: being consistent, staying creative, and not being afraid to show the real me. At first, I was scared to post, but with time I realized — the more you do, the better it gets.

Advice? Just start, even if it’s not perfect. Try different things, have fun with it, and don’t compare yourself to others. Everyone’s journey is different.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes! I love collaborating with brands that value real, authentic content — especially in beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and fashion. If you’re looking for UGC that feels natural and truly connects with people, I’d love to work together.

You can reach out to me on Instagram @alina.elan or send an email — I’m always open to new ideas and partnerships!
