Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Aliya Fraser. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Aliya, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I’ve built my confidence and self-esteem over time through consistency. Instead of focusing only on the outcome, I concentrated on how the creative process made me feel. By making small, steady adjustments, I was able to develop a distinctive style and brand that authentically represent me and communicate a strong message.
When I create, I don’t overthink the result—I rely on my intuition and allow myself to be guided by it. Even in the early stages, when my skills were still developing, I stayed committed to moving forward. That persistence helped me establish a personal style I truly believe in, and once I gained confidence in it, I was able to produce work more quickly without sacrificing quality.
I’ve also learned that I work best when I keep momentum. If I spend too long on a single idea, I tend to lose interest, so I’ve designed my process to support fast execution while maintaining a high standard. Along the way, the feedback and encouragement I received reassured me that I was moving in the right direction. That validation reinforced the results of my dedication and hard work.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I specialize in both art and cosmetology. I developed my brand, Godlee Goodies, as a space to showcase my many talents while continuing to grow in different aspects of business and creativity. Currently, I run an online store where I offer products designed to support personal development and growth.
I strongly believe in the power of manifestation and positive affirmations, so every piece of art I create is made with specific intentions. Each work carries its own vibrational energy, which I then translate into wearable and usable products that display both my art and its message. It means so much to me when customers share how deeply a piece has touched them or made an impact in their lives.
My favorite mediums are acrylic on canvas and watercolor with colored pencils, and I like to describe my style as abstract realism. It’s a less common category, but I enjoy doing things outside the ordinary. Beyond my artwork, I also express my creativity through cosmetology, offering services in hair, nails, and makeup. Helping others showcase their individuality in this way is another passion of mine.
One of my biggest accomplishments right now is completing my cosmetology license, which will allow me to expand my business and continue serving my clients in even more meaningful ways. I put God at the center of everything I do, and I truly feel called to use my creativity in service to others.
This October, I’ll be showcasing my work at the Texas Music and Arts Festival, and I’m thrilled about the opportunity to share my mission through podcasts, radio, magazines, and more.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three biggest qualities that have shaped my journey are consistency, quality, and strong business management. I believe you are defined by what you do consistently—not occasionally. On this path, you can’t pick and choose when you feel like showing up. Even when you’re tired, upset, or not feeling your best, you have to keep pushing forward to reach your goals and make progress any way you can.
I’ll never forget when I first built my website. I was about five months pregnant at the time and incredibly sick—it felt like I had been hit by a truck. Yet there I was, in bed with my laptop, working until 4 a.m. developing products to launch on my site. That moment taught me that regardless of how you feel, you must remain focused and committed.
Quality has also been a cornerstone of my journey. It can be tempting to take shortcuts or go the cheap route, but sacrificing quality only hurts in the long run. The way to build true loyalty is by consistently producing excellent work. That requires research, dedication, and a genuine desire to serve your clients by solving problems, not creating new ones.
Finally, business management has been essential. Entrepreneurship requires taking risks, but those risks must be smart and calculated. When money comes in, it shouldn’t be used to show off—it should be reinvested into yourself and your business to fuel long-term growth. Creating efficient systems, structuring your website effectively, finding clientele, and drawing attention to your brand are all part of building a strong foundation.
At the end of the day, a business is about more than products—it’s about the brand. Just like major corporations, the true value lies in what the brand represents. That’s why I strive to create a brand that not only delivers high-quality offerings but also provides value, meaning, and solutions for my audience.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m a big believer in the power of networking with like-minded individuals. There’s a saying that we’re better together than on our own, and I think that’s especially true when it comes to creativity and community. That’s why I always try to take advantage of opportunities to attend events and collaborate with other artists—whether they’re YouTubers, podcasters, musicians, or creatives in other fields. I love connecting with people and seeing the diversity of talents and perspectives that are out there.
When I collaborate, I look for people who are confident in their passion and who are willing to make things happen in a timely, professional, and efficient way. I especially enjoy working with up-and-coming businesses, since I offer creative services like logo design, merchandise, websites, and more. I have a wide range of skills to bring to the table, and I’m always excited to turn new ideas into real projects.
One of my favorite parts of collaboration is bouncing ideas around with others—it always sparks fresh inspiration. Recently, I’ve also been investing more into tattooing, so I’d love to create events that bring together multiple creative disciplines and serve more than just one specific audience. For me, it’s about building community, creating opportunities, and making space for creativity in all its forms.
