We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Alli Wulfert a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alli, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
This is a question that comes up a lot in our industry, and honestly, in life in general.
I grew up acting. From a really young age, I found so much of my purpose and identity in performing. When people told me I was talented, or even just that I was beautiful, it fed me. But on the flip side, whenever I lost a role, had a bad performance, or received criticism, it felt like my entire identity was crumbling.
Everything changed for me when I gave my life to Jesus. I believe he saved me! That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again so I could have a relationship with God. He’s not just my Savior, but my best friend.
More than being an actor, my identity is now rooted in being who God created me to be: loved, chosen, and with a purpose beyond any stage or screen.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m an actor, comedian, and writer!
Professionally, I’m focused on creating work that’s both entertaining and meaningful! I loveee to laugh and make other people laugh. Right now, I’m developing a collection of character-driven sketches and comedic videos for social media, producing a short film that I’m so excited to share. I’m also acting in my first feature film (idk if I’m allowed to share that yet haha). It’s a huge milestone and has been such a fun challenge getting to dive deep into a longer format project!! It’s such an out of body experience to live out a dream I’ve had for so long, and I’m SO THANKFUL!
Beyond my own projects, I’m passionate about collaborating with other creatives who want to make work that’s bold, funny, and honest. My brand as an artist is joyful and energetic, but I try to bring intention and share the light and joy I’ve found in my relationship with God through the work that I do.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I grew up in a big family that always supports me and believes in me. My parents never made me feel like my dreams were too big – they just drove me to voice lessons, laughed at the skits my friends and I would video in my room, and always sat front row with flowers at my high school plays! I can’t overemphasize how thankful I am for them! They’ve given me strength when I didn’t have enough strength on my own to keep going, and I know that ultimately all of that strength comes from God.
This industry is full of highs and lows! (So is life) If I’ve auditioned for a thousand roles, I’ve lost out on 995 of them, haha! My advice: remind yourself constantly that a “no” is actually just a yes for something better! I trust God’s plan for my life and my career, and I try to keep that in the center of my mind when things get hard. I really do believe that I only fail if I give up. But I’m thankful not to go through it alone!
My main advice I guess is to KEEP GOING! Keep learning, and don’t be afraid to be fully yourself. The world needs your unique voice!
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
YES! I love meeting new people, I love working with others, and I want to learn from as many people as I can. I’m always looking to work on new film or social media projects, so I’d love to connect!
