Alpha , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Confidence and self-esteem are the cornerstones of my success. I’ve cultivated these qualities through relentless dedication and hands-on experience. By immersing myself in my field, I’ve honed my skills, expanded my knowledge, and built a strong foundation of expertise.
Setting ambitious goals and relentlessly pursuing them has been instrumental in boosting my self-belief. As I’ve achieved milestones and overcome challenges, my confidence has grown exponentially.
The synergy between confidence and self-esteem is undeniable. When you believe in your abilities and your worth, you become a force to be reckoned with. You’re more vocal, more proactive, and more likely to take on new challenges. These are the essential traits of a successful leader
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As the founder of OTMxHoodRock, 13Entertainment, and A3Pex Foundation, I’m passionate about fostering creativity, building careers, and giving back to the community.
OTMxHoodRock is more than just a marketing and management company; it’s a platform for artists to tell their authentic stories and connect with their fans on a deeper level. We provide the tools and resources they need to build sustainable careers and achieve their goals.
13Entertainment is our production powerhouse, specializing in creating immersive experiences that captivate audiences and leave a lasting impact. From music videos to live events, our productions are designed to showcase artists’ talents and elevate their brands.
A3Pex Foundation is our non-profit initiative dedicated to nurturing the next generation of creative talent. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and performance opportunities, we provide aspiring artists with the resources and support they need to thrive.
I’m particularly excited about the upcoming revival of our Artistry Showcase. One goal I have is to take the show on the road in 2025. So artist be on the look out we might be in ya city.
My mission is to be a mentor, a champion, and a catalyst for creative individuals. I believe that by empowering artists and inspiring audiences, we can create a more vibrant and inspiring world.”
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities have been instrumental in my journey: patience, willingness, and optimism.
Patience is essential in the entrepreneurial world. Resisting the urge to rush and embracing the process has allowed me to make informed decisions and build a sustainable business.
Willingness to go the extra mile has opened countless doors. By being proactive, adaptable, and always ready to take on new challenges, I’ve positioned myself for success.
Optimism is a powerful force. Even in the face of setbacks, maintaining a positive outlook has fueled my determination and kept me focused on my goals.
Continuous learning is another key component. I’ve invested in my development through networking, effective communication, and strong leadership skills. These three pillars work together to build relationships, influence others, and drive results.
To stay ahead, I’ve made a commitment to lifelong learning. Books, seminars, and podcasts provide invaluable insights and keep me updated on industry trends. By staying curious and open-minded, I’ve been able to adapt to changing circumstances and seize new opportunities.”
To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was foster a sense of independence and self-discovery. They allowed me to explore my passions, make my own mistakes, and ultimately find my own path.
Growing up with the name Alpha, I often felt a pressure to conform to expectations. However, my parents’ unwavering support and belief in me helped me embrace my individuality and develop a strong sense of self.
Their trust and guidance have been invaluable in shaping who I am today. I’m eternally grateful for their love and support.”
