Meet Alpha The Wolf

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alpha The Wolf. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alpha below.

Alpha, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

Isolation and a degree of fanaticism

You have to embody your art , become a medium for it. There’s a certain reverence that swells when it comes to manifesting my work. The mind is spongey, in life this is generally a good thing. This is even more so the case when it comes to our subconscious mind. What you absorb has a direct correlation within you even if you aren’t aware of it.

Playing defense with the mind can be a full time job unless you opt-in to be a hermit on the edge of town. Honestly there’s some of that going on too but I don’t mind, when it comes to music I’m always gonna be late to the party. I’ll hear last years summer bang down the road when the hype has faded.

Being alone in the temple is worth it.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

The VOID is patient….

The preparation are nearly complete.

I’ve been working hard to create new, novel, avant-garde mediums, a variety at that.
I can say alot of this stuff is going to push the bar. Slow and steady though….you don’t wanna scare the hoes.

There will be several roll outs this year. The first project coming very soon
Nyctophiliac.

Experimental meets mental sounds about right.

Of course, all in house.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

It’s not a fair question.

You and I, they and I…we are not the same.

I cannot be their mentor, only their end.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

Time! The end of all things.

With there only being 24 hours in a day I can only do so much.

Managing production, mixes, graphics, videos, merch, data & ads as a solo entity means you’re in control but you’re always 100% responsible for your failures. I’m more than comfortable with that (considering I don’t lose anyway).

Alas, there is only one of me. I wouldn’t trade the scenario, constantly learning and research have taught me new skills and only greater expanded my capacity to express the art.
