Meet Aly Jade

We were lucky to catch up with Aly Jade recently and have shared our conversation below.

Aly , thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
From day one of my career on social media/ in the world I’m in I knew there’d be people that would try to stop me and un- motivate me. At first I was scared of not being liked but I learned quickly that it meant i was doing something right! I always loved the quote “Behind a successful person lies a pack of haters”. Haters are just a confirmation that your doing something right!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Before I knew I wanted to peruse social media and singing I started out dancing at the age of 3! Dancing has always been my favorite hobby and will always be! Once I started social media I grew rapidly on insta which till this day is my biggest platform! At the age of 9 I edited and filmed my own YouTube videos and uploaded 3 times a week. Now I think I’m on every platform you could think of and active on it! Around 2 years ago I found my love for music which has been so fun learning! I just built my own studio and learning to self produce while managing the social media life. I love every bit of what I do, there’s always days where I’m not motivated but I’m not a quitter.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Just believe in your self. Early in my journey I compared my self to others and didn’t feel like I had a place and just felt lost. YOU are so special and can do ANYTHING you put work into and you will succeed!

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
I’m so grateful to have the most supportive family! My parents moved across state for me to peruse my career, and have been by my side for every obstacle and milestone. Having supportive parents/ family is so amazing!
