Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alyesaar Abdullah. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alyesaar, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
from the seeds of an online business during the pandemic, my journey flourished into a physical shop; driven by a passion to refine my craft, i pursued cosmetology school, evolving the shop into a vibrant beauty salon, and my aspiration now is to perpetually expand my horizons through endless learning, as i am committed to this path of growth and discovery

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
as the founder of rkalliz cosmetics, my journey began in late 2020, and I never imagined my vision would evolve into what it is today. Now an international brand, I’m excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new hair product. I’t’s highly anticipated, but i’m keeping the details for now. When the moment is right, everyone will discover what kind of hair product it is, and not just where we’re operating and our products. we are a team of designers, so we’ve combined everything under one roof, from designing clothes to selling products to a large beauty salon, encompassing everything in one place.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1- it’s never too late to learn; I never imagined becoming a cosmetologist. my passion for makeup and products was always there, but I never thought I’d push myself to grow in this field
2- never fully trust anyone with your business; when hiring, be the boss. they won’t treat your business like their own. stay involved in everything they do because if you give them full trust, they might harm your business. some people may only seek their own success, so hire those committed to building the business with you
3- no matter how tough it gets, never give up. struggles are inevitable, especially as you expand, and it’s challenging without prior business experience. however, I learn something new every day. it’s difficult, but keep pushing yourself—it’s worth it in the end.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
enrolling in a cosmetology class has been an incredible experience, offering insights beyond just brands and products, delving into the entire industry, and i’m truly amazed at how quickly time flies by, eagerly anticipating the completion of this exciting journey.
