Meet Alyssa Hatchard

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alyssa Hatchard. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alyssa below.

Hi Alyssa, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Honestly, I think my purpose found me, piece by piece, through every season and every country I’ve lived in.
For a long time, I was searching for it in achievement, new roles, new places, new titles but purpose has a way of revealing itself when we stop running and start listening.

I’ve worked around the world in sectors like mental health, advocacy, and coaching from palliative care to forensic psychiatry to humanitarian campaigns. Every experience gave me a glimpse into the human spirit: what keeps us going, what breaks us open, and what ultimately heals us. But even then, something in me was craving more, not more success, but more soul.

My real turning point came when I began to integrate everything I’d learned, psychology, energy healing, and spiritual growth and realized that purpose isn’t something we “arrive at.” It’s something we embody. It’s how we live, lead, and love when we finally stop trying to fit into the boxes that were never meant for us.

It’s what led me to create Soul Pathways, a space where I could finally bring together everything I’ve lived, learned, and believed in. It’s not about having the answers; it’s about helping others remember who they are and why they’re here. It’s about guiding them to ditch the fear and build a life they love.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

At its heart, Soul Pathways is about transformation. Not the kind that happens overnight, but the kind that changes how you see yourself and how you move through the world.

I’m a transformational coach, guide and Reiki Master Teacher, and my work bridges psychology, energy healing, and intuitive guidance to help people realign their lives from the inside out. Whether that’s through one-on-one mentorship, Reiki trainings, Retreats, or the Soul Pathways Podcast, everything I create is designed to remind people that they are capable of creating a life that truly feels like theirs.

What makes my work so special to me is that it’s alive, it evolves with the seasons, both energetically and creatively. Some seasons are about deep inner work, others are about taking bold leaps. Right now, I’m in a phase of expansion, growing my podcast, launching new mentorship journeys, including my newest offering The Business Blueprint.

What I love most is witnessing those full-circle moments when someone who once felt lost reconnects with their power and starts building the life they once only dreamed about. That’s the magic that keeps me inspired every single day.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

If I had to narrow it down to three, I’d say self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and trust in timing have shaped everything about my journey.

Self-awareness was the foundation learning to understand my own patterns, fears, and desires before trying to “fix” them. I think many people rush to reinvent themselves without pausing to actually know themselves. My advice? Get curious. Journal. Reflect. Listen to your body and your energy, it’s always speaking.

Emotional intelligence came next. Working in coaching taught me that success and connection depend on how well we can hold space, for ourselves and for others. When you can respond instead of react, everything changes. The best way to grow this muscle is through compassion: meet yourself where you are instead of where you think you should be.

And finally, trust in timing! This just might be the hardest one. For years, I wanted everything to happen now. But the universe has a way of preparing us for what we ask for. Learning to trust that nothing you truly desire will pass you by allows you to create from peace instead of pressure.

Those three qualities continue to guide me, not as things I’ve mastered, but as practices I return to daily.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Absolutely. Collaboration is one of my favourite parts of what I do!! I truly believe that aligned partnerships amplify our impact in ways we could never create alone.

Right now, I’m especially open to connecting with brands, creators, and thought leaders who share a focus on holistic living, soul-led business, personal transformation, and conscious leadership. Whether it’s through podcast interviews, speaking opportunities, global retreats, or aligned brand partnerships, I love working with people and companies who value authenticity, creativity, and depth over surface-level success.

I’m also expanding Soul Pathways into new territories from mentorship programs and energy trainings to media collaborations so I’m always excited to meet others who feel called to co-create something meaningful.

The best way to connect is through my website www.healingwithwanderlyss.com or on Instagram at @alyssahatchard. If you’re reading this and something in my work speaks to you, that’s your nudge. Reach out. Let’s see what magic we can create together. You can also email directly at [email protected]
