Meet Alyssa Zonghetti

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Alyssa Zonghetti a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alyssa, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

Finding my purpose hasn’t been some big “aha” moment—it has been a journey of experiences and impactful moments combined that have led me on my path. I used to think purpose was something you just find one day, but I’ve realized it’s something you create by showing up, doing the work, and following what lights you up inside, and that over time, this can change and present itself in many different ways.

For me, this has meant taking my own struggles in life and turning that pain into purpose in the name of helping others. I had always believed when I walked through certain experiences in life, that I was meant to do something bigger with it. Intuitively, I always felt that if I was walking through these events and experiences, there was a bigger purpose involved. I’ve overcome my fair share of adversity, which further fuels my passion to help other women heal and claim their power. From healing after narcissistic and toxic relationships to facing becoming a widow at 31, I battled imposter syndrome, the fear of being seen, and the deep-seated belief that I wasn’t enough. In time I was able to unlearn patterns of self-doubt, learned to trust myself, and reclaimed my self-worth.

The more I worked on my mindset, the more I saw how many other women were stuck in the same patterns, holding themselves back from the success and growth they deserved. That’s when I became very passionate about helping women to reclaim their confidence, own their worth, and stop playing small. My purpose isn’t just about what I do—it’s about who I get to help be the best version of themselves.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

As a Hypnotherapist and Mindset Coach, I passionately believe that every woman is a leader in her own life and has the power to achieve her biggest dreams—she just needs the right mindset to get there. Through my custom hypnotherapy programs, I help women break free from self-doubt, stop playing small and confidently step into their power. Whether it’s finally charging what they’re worth, showing up in their business or career without fear, learning to love themselves fully or simply feeling enough, I guide them in rewiring deep subconscious beliefs so change actually sticks long-term.

Reprogramming your subconscious mind is the quickest and most effective way to make lasting changes and that is why I am so passionate about helping people to learn about this tool and how available it is to them. I blend science-backed techniques with a client-centered focus, making deep transformation feel safe, accessible, and even fun. Hypnosis isn’t about losing control—it’s about taking control of your future, once and for all.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding my work to reach even more women through my signature hypnotherapy programs designed to help women LIVE MORE, LOVE MORE, AND EARN MORE. Because when you step into your worth fully, everything changes!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three things have been absolutely essential in my journey:

Self-Reflection – For me it was important to understand my actions and role in different experiences I had in life. I had to start looking at patterns in my life and asking, “What’s my role in this?” It wasn’t about blaming myself or blaming others —it was about recognizing my radical responsibility. If I kept finding myself in the same kinds of situations or repeating the same patterns, I had to ask, “What beliefs, choices, or habits are keeping me here?” It truly helped me to learn that the only thing I could control in life was my actions and my responses.

Resilience – I have learned that grief nor growth is linear, and there have been plenty of moments where I questioned if I was on the right path. I used to view failures as a reflection of my worth or capabilities. But I have learned to reframe failures as learning lessons and stepping stones to find my path. Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me”, I have learned to ask “What is this teaching me”.

Mastering My Mindset – Your mind will either be your biggest obstacle or your greatest asset. I have had to unlearn old habits and patterns, learn to let go of limiting beliefs and fully own my worth before I could really do things I want to do in life and be the person I want to be.

I always tell clients to start paying attention to your self-talk. When I am being hard on myself or my thoughts are not feeling empowered, I always think, “Would I say these things to my best friend?” Of course not – so what would I say to them? That’s one way I personally try to reframe my mindset and guide my clients to do the same.

For anyone feeling stuck or unsure in life, know this: You don’t have to have it all figured out right now. Just take the first next step forward, trust yourself, and do the inner work. It will all come together in time and you will see what the next steps forward should be to keep you going on your journey to growth and change.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

For me it’s been finding my voice more and being confident being seen – whether that be as the founder of my hypnosis practice, speaking on stages, guesting on podcasts, or sharing my expertise on social media and to women empowerment communities. Owning who I am and embracing my authentic voice, knowing I may not be for everyone, has been an area I have really worked hard at.
