Meet Amanda Griffin-Snyder

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amanda Griffin-Snyder. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Amanda, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

I’ve always been an optimistic person. It’s in my bones. My middle name is Joy, so maybe I didn’t have much of a choice! But optimism doesn’t mean I’m always positive. I have plenty of days where doubt creeps in, where I want to give up. I get overwhelmed and burnt out. I’ve lived through enough wild storms to know that light still finds its way in.

I have a learning disability, and for much of my life, I just wanted to be seen and heard, to be understood beyond the limits others assumed for me. I’ve spent years proving to myself that I deserve to be in rooms I was once told I didn’t belong in. That journey has shaped me.

I still have moments of frustration, fear, and anxiety. But when that happens, I slow down. I breathe. I look at my vision board. I spend time with my family, the truest manifestation of the life I wanted. They ground me.

What keeps me optimistic is gratitude. Even the challenging chapters have shaped me into someone I’m proud to be. I believe we can hold struggle and joy at the same time. That’s what real optimism is to me. Not ignoring the dark, being grateful for the strength it gave me and choosing joy anyway.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m the co-founder of Wild Three Co. ® a plant-powered wellness brand I started with my husband, Kalle in 2017. We create powerful herbal remedies and cannabinoid-based products that help ease suffering and support people and pets to live a freer, more vibrant life. Our formulas are rooted in our combined 30+ years of experience in the cannabis and hemp industries and the decades of plant medicine wisdom from our certified clinical herbalist. Every product we create is inspired by our own needs and the needs of our community. Our products are made with integrity, care, and sustainability at every step.
What makes Wild Three Co. ® special is that we didn’t set out to start a business, we set out to find real solutions for our own healing. When our friends and family began experiencing relief from the formulas we made, they shared them with others. The demand grew organically, and we decided to offer them to the public. We are deeply committed to quality, transparency, and sustainability. Our packaging is almost entirely compostable, recyclable and plastic-free. We’re also proud members of 1% for the Planet.
Our three children are a big part of our journey. They inspire the name Wild Three Co. ® and remind us daily why we do this. They’re involved in everything from product development to vendor markets, and seeing them witness the growth of something we built together is one of the most meaningful parts of this work.
Right now, we’re focused on expanding our wholesale network to reach more people through doctors’ offices, pet shops, wellness boutiques and grocery stores etc. We recently launched some of our products on Faire wholesale marketplace in their Hemp CBD pilot program! Our Pet CBD Collection launched almost 2 yrs ago now and is made with the highest quality herbal ingredients to effectively support dogs, cats, and even horses. We’re beyond thrilled to be getting amazing feedback from both veterinarians and pet parents!

We also recently launched our Wild+Revive Hangover Prevention drops. Wild+Revive Drops help your body fight the negative effects of alcohol by supporting liver function and detoxification and reducing GABAa rebound-the main culprit in hangover nasties like nausea and headache.

In other exciting news, after 3 years of waiting, our name Wild Three Co.® and our tagline, Long Live The Wild Ones® are now officially registered trademarks!

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that healing should be accessible, effective, and kind to the Earth. That’s the world I want to help continue to create.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the three qualities that have had the most impact on my journey are resilience, devotion to learning, and staying true to my values. Even when it’s the slower road.

Resilience has carried me through everything from major supply chain disruptions to the emotional toll of building a business from scratch while also raising a family. The wellness space, especially in the hemp industry, is not easy to navigate. But We’ve learned how to bend without breaking, to trust the process even when it’s uncertain, and to let each challenge deepen our commitment.

Curiosity and lifelong learning have kept me grounded and evolving. I’ve spent the last 15 years immersed in plant medicine, learning not just about CBD and cannabinoids, but how herbs and the body work together to create real, lasting relief. We work alongside an amazing certified clinical herbalist, and every product we formulate together is rooted in that collaboration and care. For anyone just starting out I strongly suggest you to be a student. Always.

But what has truly shaped Wild Three Co.® is our fierce dedication to values over velocity. We are not building a brand for fast money. We are building a business that helps people feel better without harming the planet or exploiting trust. Every decision we make, from sourcing organic and sustainable herbs to designing sustainable packaging, is guided by the belief that effectiveness, sustainability, and care should always come before profit.

There is enough exploitation and manipulation in the world. We don’t need more brands using people to get rich. We need more brands that choose integrity, transparency, and helping others. That’s what I hope to model. It’s slower, yes. But it’s solid. It’s real. And it’s worth it.

If I could give advice to someone early in their journey, I’d say this: start with your “why” and protect it fiercely. Learn the craft. Honor the people you serve. Let your brand grow at the speed of trust. That’s how something meaningful is built.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

Our ideal client isn’t defined by age, income, or aesthetic. They’re defined by a feeling.
They’ve tried everything and are still searching for something that actually works.
They care about what goes in and on their body. They read ingredient labels.
They believe in the power of plants, but they also want proof, not just promises.

They’re the burned out moms, the sensitive ones, the skeptics-turned-believers.
They’re the hard working farmers and the exhausted nurses.
They’re the unemployed person bed rotting, wondering if anything can help.
They’re the stay-at-home parent holding everyone together.
They’re professionals, athletes, and doctors who want to care for themselves or enhance how they care for others.

Some of our favorite customers are the ones who say, “I’ve tried CBD before and it didn’t work for me” or “It didn’t help my pet” because when they decide to trust us and try one of our formulas, they always come back.
