We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Amanda Paez. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Amanda below.
Hi Amanda, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I’ve always felt a natural connection when working with children, it came easily to me, even at a young age. Teaching and tutoring felt like something I just knew I was meant to do. I’m so grateful I trusted that inner instinct and allowed it to guide my path. Finding my life’s purpose in education brings me much joy to help children grow, gain confidence, and discover their own potential. It’s more than a job.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the founder of Teach Inspire Transform, a tutoring company dedicated to supporting elementary school children in reading, ELA, and math. We focus on helping each child grow academically while also building their confidence and love for learning. What’s most exciting to me is being able to meet children right where they are and watch them transform. Whether it’s mastering a new concept, finally feeling excited about reading, or expressing themselves more clearly.
What makes our approach special is the level of intention and care we bring to every session. Lessons are customized based on each child’s learning style and needs, and we always make space for creativity, conversation, and fun. It’s not just about academics, it’s about helping kids feel seen, supported, and empowered.
This summer, we’re offering expanded private and small group enrichment sessions to help students stay engaged and feel prepared for the new school year. We’re also growing our reach through new educational resources and workshops that support both children and their families. It’s a very exciting time, and I’m grateful to be doing work that feels so aligned with my purpose.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three qualities that were most impactful in my journey have been patience, intuition, and consistency.
Patience helped me understand that every child learns at their own pace, and growth often happens in small, beautiful steps. Intuition guided me in recognizing what each child truly needs. Sometimes it’s a new learning strategy, a brain-break, and someone who believes in them. Consistency allowed me to build trust with families and students, showing up day after day with the same level of care and commitment.
For anyone just starting out, my advice is to lean into your natural strengths and stay connected to your “why.” Be open to learning from every experience, and don’t be afraid to ask questions or seek mentorship. Keep showing up, keep practicing your craft, and trust that the impact you’re making, even if it feels small at first, truly matters. Growth takes time, but if your heart is in the right place, you’ll find your rhythm and your purpose will unfold.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
If I were looking to collaborate, I’d be most interested in connecting with other in the education field, speech therapists, child development specialists, creative curriculum designers, and homeschool communities, who share a passion for helping children grow academically and emotionally. I also love working with local businesses and enrichment programs that support literacy, learning through play, and social-emotional development.
