Meet Amanda Pasciolla

We were lucky to catch up with Amanda Pasciolla recently and have shared our conversation below.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Since college, I’ve had a deep desire to start a business. My notebooks were full of ideas, yet, for years, I struggled to move from thought to action. I remember hearing the term “wantrepreneur” and thinking, that’s me. I wanted it badly but wasn’t making it a reality. I read countless self-help books, listened to podcasts, and researched ideas—yet I was stuck. Life in my corporate job consumed me, and I was never putting my ideas into motion.

When I reached my thirties, I realized the corporate ladder wasn’t what I wanted. I worked long hours, glued to my desk, with little time for anything but work, sleep, and meals. I thought, what if I put this energy into creating something meaningful? Even if it didn’t bring financial success, the act of pursuing a passion would be worth it.

Then came COVID-19. The isolation, long work hours, and the neglect of personal care made me understand how important hygiene is for well-being. It struck me that something as simple as feeling clean has a profound impact on my mental state. This experience motivated me to create BODDI, a brand dedicated to making hygiene effortless, accessible, and empowering—no matter where life takes you.

After over two years of development and testing, BODDI was born: a rinse-free, natural body cleanse that’s gentle on the skin and designed to support people on the move. Whether you’re heading from a workout to a meeting, traveling, adventuring outdoors, or simply juggling a busy life, BODDI is your shower in a bottle—refreshing and ready for you, anytime, anywhere.

Our mission is simple but meaningful: to help people feel fresh, clean, and ready to embrace whatever life brings. I’m thrilled that BODDI will be launching at the end of November, and I can’t wait for you to experience it. Thank you for being part of my journey!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

There are so many lessons you learn—both large and small. Everyone’s journey is different, but if I reflect on my own, I would call out these three:

1. Understanding there is no perfect time to start. This isn’t a skill but a mindset that has made all the difference. Life will always be busy—there will always be a project, a commitment, or a life event pulling your attention. There’s no such thing as an “easy” business to launch; it all requires time and effort. Starting with small steps, like dedicating just an hour each day, can make the seemingly overwhelming feel achievable. Over time, small steps lead to big strides, and progress comes one bite at a time.

2. Finding the right partners. Seeking advice, support, and help has been invaluable. Reaching out to others, researching potential partners, and staying open to feedback have helped me grow both personally and professionally. It can feel uncomfortable at times, but building a network of supportive and knowledgeable people is crucial for both your own development and your brand’s success. And if a partnership isn’t working, it’s essential to move on and find relationships that better support your goals.

3. Embracing adaptability. Things rarely go as planned, and being able to adapt has been key. Whether it’s adjusting a product feature or pivoting a strategy, staying open to change allows for growth and resilience. Adaptability doesn’t mean abandoning your vision—it means finding the best path forward, even if that path looks different than you initially imagined. Embracing change can open doors to insights and opportunities you hadn’t anticipated.
