Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amanda Rose. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amanda, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I found my purpose through my own struggles and heartbreak. I took my mess, conquered it and made it my message. We have two choices in life – let our struggles destroy us or use it to catapult us into something beyond our wildest dreams. I took a heartbreaking divorce and used it to help others find love again. My children and my faith in God are also my biggest motivators and drive my purpose to create a meaningful life and business.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m the owner of several businesses within the dating industry. I own Prestige Connections, the Dating Boutique and sister companies SwoonMe Events and Dating Stylist. Prestige Connections is a luxury matchmaking agency. We handpick and vet personalized highly compatible matches for our clients. Dating Boutique is a dating consultancy that creates resources, date coaching, courses, and more to help singles date successfully, heal from a heartbreak, and enjoy the journey of being single.
I’m known as the southern celebrity matchmaker. My matchmaking clients are high-profile, high-quality singles that are looking for love. What sets me apart from others is the matching process. Our matching process is very personalized, customized, and created by professionals that create long-term healthy relationships.
One of the things I’m most proud of regarding my brand is I was also named one of the top dating coaches in the world. We have a 100% success rate with all of our date coaching clients. I love seeing the transformation of our coaching clients and the success they experience. I’m also proud of all the relationships and connections we’ve created over the years.
I have a new exciting program that will be launched for single women to help them find their husband in 2025! I’m very excited about this program because it helps women become their own matchmaker and find love with ease.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three most impactful qualities and skills that helped create a successful business was my determination to never quit, to always be a student and seek mentorship or self study in the areas I wanted to grow, and embracing the power of networking.
Building a business is never a smooth road. There have been plenty of obstacles and learning experiences. The biggest struggle was learning how to build a business. When I started, I didn’t have any business experience. However, I was committed to making it work as a single mom. So, I self-taught myself how to create a website, start a business, market, etc. I went back to college to study intimate and interpersonal communication to start the path to becoming an expert in my industry. It’s been a constant learning experience fueled with dedication and the drive to never give up. As a business moves up to the next level there’s a new struggle to learn and overcome. However, that’s what makes the most successful businesses.

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?
I think it’s important to always learn and grow in various areas. However your focus should be improving your strengths while delegating the areas you’re weaker in. Delegating areas in my business has helped me scale and improve my company beyond what I could do on my own. It’s important to find people that can do a task better than you so you don’t waste time on tasks that are your weak areas and instead that time could be used on your areas of strength. This will help your business grow faster than trying to do it all on your own. Early on in my business I did everything from website design to client management. I was overwhelmed and overworked. Now I complete more and work less because of successfully delegating out tasks.
