Meet Amber Bell

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Amber Bell. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Amber below.

Amber, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
My purpose came from God first and foremost, my kids and my late great mother she passed away from Lupus. I was at home one day when I watched how staff treated her when she was in their care. I didn’t like how the services were cold she was always complaining about being cold. She also didn’t like the ride home so that gave me the drive to start Bell Transportation Services. I am a believer and the customer is always right I wanted to achieve elite services and treat my clients like family instead of a number. In my case my purpose seems to have evolved from experiences as a woman in various industries. In order to find my purpose and make my vision a reality , I may have engaged in self -reflection, seeking guidance from mentors and loved ones, and staying true to my values. Ultimately , the purpose behind a person’s work is a reflection of who they are , what they stand for, and what they hope to achieve.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am Amber Bell a Milwaukee native who worked hard to get to where I am. I have had a lot of stumbling blocks and challenging situations that I have overcome. Giving back to others is one of my strong suits. Ever since a little girl I was helping package homeless meals. It’s one of my first loves besides writing books. What I am focused on professionally is more self help books my comic book for disabled children, as well as more speaking engagements. I want to make an impact on the world. I was taught to use your voice so that is what I am going to do. I get most excited by just giving a helping hand in any way that I can. So this year I want to start back a summer program for kids to help them escape the violence going on in the communities. I am revamping my makeup brand with new packaging , as well as my clothing line it’s all getting a makeover. I do have some events coming up one being recent my book signing March 2nd in Dallas TX. I am up for a Women OF WOW award and a Lifetime Achievement Award through President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.I am actually really proud of those awards. In the near future I have more children’s books, book tours.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
What three qualities or skills of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey wow so many but, I will say continuous learning , critical thinking and adaptability are important in any journey as they helped me to stay updated, make informed decision, and navigate through various situations effectively. Believe in what you are doing first you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Stay true to yourself in your team or mentors that is important. Go off your intuition let it steer you in the right way. Set clear goals to define specific goals and objectives for your learning journey. Identify the areas where you want to expand your knowledge or develop certain skills. Embrace curiosity and have a thirst for knowledge. Seek out opportunities to explore new subjects, ask questions. Remember there are no right or wrong answers don’t be afraid to get out there.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing my parents taught me is to be strong and not be afraid to take risks. Go in any room and own it whatever you do in this life except what comes with it and take it by the horns. Trust in yourself you are going to have to make difficult decisions but, walk away knowing there is a solution. Walk with your head up and always let your character and good works speak for yourself. Remember to be your own kind of beautiful no matter what people say. Hard work pays off in the end especially when you are doing it honest.
