Meet Amber Krystal

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amber Krystal. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Amber , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Confronting the broken issues in my life that had me not walking HEALED WHOLE , and MATURE was the first step. I discovered that you truly can’t ever walk in the greatest version of yourself confidently and with healthy self-esteem until that transformation takes place from the inside out. In order to develop confidence and self-esteem you have to denounce what had you insecure and bound by loss of worth, and begin to embrace the new confidence and self-esteem that God is building within you. For me, the process came through prayer and positive affirmations learning to replace toxic thoughts with truth.. you have to make it a daily habit to affirm the new and improved confident version of yourself even on the days you don’t feel it. One of my favorite affirmations that I still stand on is I am who God says I am beautifully and wonderfully made in his image. That’s where my confidence was birth, not from perfection performance or position, but from a healed identity, rooted in who I am in Christ.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am an actress, author, prophetic voice for this generation, and the Founder of BeHeal BeWhole BeMature – A Place of Metamorphosis, where I help men and women confront broken, toxic, and dysfunctional issues so they can discover true beauty from within — from the inside out.

One of the most unique and exciting things about what I do is that I am called and chosen outside of the four walls of the church. My ministry is also in media, which allows me to reach people I would have never been able to reach otherwise. I call it marketplace ministry — meeting people where they are, whether it’s through film, writing, or social platforms, and being a light in spaces that desperately need it.

I recently released my award-winning eBook, “A Call to the Wilderness – A Pursuit to Purpose and Destiny,” available now on Amazon. It’s a powerful reflection of how adversity can become the very tool God uses to shape destiny.

And this is only the beginning — stay tuned, because I have a new book and several exciting projects set to release next year that continue to inspire healing, wholeness, maturity and transformation around the world.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are authenticity, learning my craft, and faith — and I still live by these today.

Authenticity has been one of my greatest strengths. I learned early on that people connect with what’s real. When you flow authentically, you give others permission to do the same. Too many people lose themselves trying to become what others expect, instead of embracing who God created them to be. The moment I stopped trying to fit into anyone else’s box and started walking confidently in who I am, doors began to open. My advice is simple: be authentic, even when it costs you acceptance. Authenticity draws the right people, not just any people.

Learning my craft came through experience and pain. My own suffering became the classroom God used to teach me. I learned how to heal, become whole, and mature by studying myself — understanding what was really happening in my life and why. That’s how I became an expert in inner healing, not because I chased a title, but because I chased transformation. I even studied psychology for my own healing process — not for a degree, but because that’s what God led me to do. So I tell others: become a student of your own life. Study your patterns, your pain, and your purpose. You’ll find wisdom in the very places that once wounded you.

And then there’s faith — the foundation that holds it all together. Faith kept me when I couldn’t see results, when everything around me said it wasn’t working. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” That scripture carried me through my wilderness seasons. My advice is: keep the faith in what God placed inside of you, even when nothing around you looks like it’s coming to pass. What He started, He will finish. Don’t give up before the turnaround — it’s coming.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

My biggest area of growth over the past year has been learning to fully trust and believe that everything is going to work out for me in due season and divine timing. I’ve had to release control and truly rest in the fact that God’s timing is always perfect — even when it doesn’t align with my own.

I’m reminded of Philippians 4:6–7, which says: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” That verse has become a constant reminder for me to stay grounded in prayer, to express gratitude in every season, and to allow peace to lead me instead of anxiety.

This year, I see life through a completely different lens. I’ve faced many challenges, just like many who will read this article — but I’ve come to understand that everything truly works together for our good (Romans 8:28). Even when it doesn’t look like it, even when the process feels painful or uncertain, God is always orchestrating something greater behind the scenes. My growth has been learning to trust that — the unseen hand of God working it all out in His divine timing.
