Meet Amber Nicolle

 

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Amber Nicolle a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Amber, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

I owe my resilience to my mother. After my father passed away when I was just 9 years old, she became a single parent and took on the role of both mom and dad. Through her strength and determination, she taught me the true meaning of fighting for what you want and never giving up on your dreams and aspirations in life.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m an LA-based actress and filmmaker with an ongoing series called Trayizon, now available on Tubi and Amazon Prime. I also founded my own media company, Valleygurl Productions LLC. I’m currently looking to expand and collaborate with other artists.”.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that had the most impact on my journey were humility, teamwork, and patience. I’ve learned that there’s no ‘I’ in team—you really need a strong team to build an empire. Patience is essential, especially when navigating obstacles. It’s also important to set realistic goals to ensure success.
